Spend a night next to a scenic turn-of-the-century farmhouse with easy access to recreation, fishing, and all the small town charm of Skagit Valley within easy driving distance.
The mosquitos are thick this year, so pack you bug spray and mosquito nets!
Please pack it in, pack it out - this site does not have trash service.
No access to the inside of the house or barn, and do not go in the corn field.
No camp fires or grills until we get a safe spot put in.
No off-leash area - please keep pets attended and safely leashed at all times, as this location is unfenced and very near the road.
Please only park on the driveway, not the lawn. It gets soupy after a rain!
I will meet you when you show up. Please don't show up without confirming via text or call first!
Please beware that anywhere off the straight driveway may be muddy if it has rained in the past few days! Please back in if you can - if you need to turn around, please do so with care in the grassy field to the right by the apple tree, or make a careful K turn in the yard to the left.
Please also beware that the linden tree has low-hanging branches (we're going to cut them soon) and releases sap throughout the warmer months which will collect on your paint/windshield if you park directly under it.
If you are towing a trailer, you will want to back in from the road (the T makes it pretty easy if you take the long way round) so you can get straight out when you want to unhook and explore without having to turn around in the grassy field.
Will be available throughout the summer and early fall, weather permitting.
Stretch your legs with a walk along the dike that surrounds Fir Island! Picnic on lush green grass in the sun next to an immortal apple tree, in the shade of a mighty oak, or tucked beneath the canopy of the sprawling linden during the day. Take a day trip to tour historical old town Mount Vernon or Conway if you like. There are plenty of farm stands during the summer, and the neighbors usually have organic eggs for sale during the summer months.
