The property is a semi-suburban home on a 1/3 acre lot in a quite neighborhood. We are close to shopping and city parks, only 8-10 miles west of downtown Denver, and 5 miles from several trailheads for hiking and mountain sports.
Due to the current Pandemic, please wear masks, social distance, and wash hands as often as possible. Please respect the neighborhood by not walking on neighbors' properties and/or Flying Drones. No Smoking on the property; No Generator noise and/or Outdoor Lights illuminated after 9pm; Quiet times are 8pm-7am. Please leave the property as clean or cleaner than you arrived/dispose of any trash on your own. Pets are allowed, but Please pick up after your pet and No Loud Dog Barking. You may request with owner if more than one overnight stay is needed. Fresh water is available when requested. Please practice camping etiquette and do not knock on front door of Host's house unless it is an emergency.
I provide 2 generous parking spaces. If you have a trailer/5th wheel/or tow vehicle, and extend into the street (while connected), you'll need to disconnect to park your rig and vehicle separately/side-by-side. If you have RV slides, please park to accommodate any trees and/or fence line. Please use your generator for A/C as electric plug-in can not support the surge needed, unfortunately. Please remember that this is "Boondocking" and an electrical plug in, fresh water refill option, and free WIFI is a courtesy.
As the warm months are a popular time, my boondockers hosting schedule fills up fast and often there are back-to-back visiting boondockers. Please respect the arrival and departure times specified in your welcome packet; i.e. arrival after 12noon/date of departure NLT 10am. Your consideration is appreciated.
Thank you in advance :) and I look forward to hosting you and your next adventure.

During the current Pandemic, I work from home 100% of the time and request masks, social distancing, and clean hands at all times. Weekends are best, but will accommodate other times as well. This location is in a quiet neighborhood. Once we got the trailer in the gravel “pad” area, we were very pleased with the stay. However, please note that at least 30 ft extension is required for electric. The hostess was gracious and left us to ourselves and had very clear boundaries. Please note no AC can be run on electric. However, we found ways to get from the heat until the cooler temps were at night. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
The host was very nice. But the ad said there was electrical. It did not say anything about not being able to run an AC. The host has since updated the posting but I didn’t find out until I got there that I needed to run my generator if I wanted AC. I’ve run my AC on 15amp house outlets many times. Not sure why hers wouldn’t work
I had to cancel last minute.. Very gracious and I am great full thank you…
Loved our stay. Lovely garden, very talented lady! Nice walking distance to restaurants, stores, parks. Thank you.
Great hosts and was convenient to all the fishing and golfing we wanted to do in the area. Thanks!!
Lakewood Leisure provided very convenient parking in a residential neighborhood with easy access to major routes on the west side of Denver metro area. Our host was welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic. We were pleased to become acquainted. We visited family for two days during our stay, and appreciated the availability of 15 amp elec srvc to keep our battery charged.
Thank you, Lakewood Leisure!
Our host welcomed us graciously. It was a very pleasant location in a nice quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping, downtown, etc. Easy back in access into the driveway. Wifi was strong. Another great boondocking experience!
Such a friendly host!! Great spot in a safe neighborhood near everything. She allowed me to use her fenced yard for my dog and he loved getting to run around! Would stay here again!
We had a perfect stay at Lakewood Leisure. Communication was excellent, which made it very easy to arrive and know what to expect. The spot is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and the amenities are wonderful. WiFi is always a treat on the road. The host is friendly, nice to chat with and we felt very welcome. On top of that, location and proximity to downtown Denver is a huge bonus. Thanks for everything, L!
Had a wonderful time staying and chatting with the little time we had.
Quiet neighborhood close access to services.
Easy, flat parking with a gracious and wonderful host. I only wish Covid permitted more time for conversation. I'll be back, if they'll have me.
Visiting friends in Denver, ideal location to get in and out of town! nice stay and host.
