Our hobby business is in a small office building which was once the home office for a local railroad and railroad-building company. It sits adjacent to the Piney River Depot which is also the trailhead for the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway Trail, a hiking, biking and horseback riding trail. RV's have been welcome in the trail parking area, but because of COVID, the lot is often full. My paved driveway is available for parking a rig. Suggested Local Attractions:Virginia Blue Ridge Railway Trail, Crabtree Falls. Nelson 151; a series of wineries, breweries, cideries and restaurants along VA RT 151 from our location and on up the mountain to the southern tip of Shenandoah National Park.

Kerry included Crabtree Falls in the listing which we discovered is something you don't want to miss before leaving the area. The 1.7 mile (3.4 mi out and back) hike is a must see and do.

Despite a lot of rain, Kerry was there for us and welcoming. Reliable ressource you can count on when you travel far away from home. We will come back for sure when travelling around.

Informative and welcoming host who gave us some brief local history and options for exploring. We really enjoyed exploring the area, riding the bike trail along the water (next door) and hiking the lovely Crabtree Falls trail. The parking spot was level however there was a fair amount of road noise which did quiet down at night.

The host was extremely communicative and accomodating. He gave instructions about the hookups even though he couldnt physically be present when we arrived. Would stay here again.
