Access is good county road with 2 travel directions - however - either direction has 1 mile or 4 miles of 12 month passable gravel road. I am 30 minutes to the closest town and HWY44 ( Shingletown ) about an hour to north entrance of Lassen Park National Park, 45 minutes to Red Bluff, CA and 1 hour to Redding, CA. Have a nice pond to fish and bbq pit. Plenty of stars and NO road noise. Wildlife and plenty of quiet. Even though property burned 8 plus years ago now, trees are coming back and much more beautiful than rainbow photo Suggested Local Attractions:City of Redding, Shasta Lake, Burney Falls, Lassen National Forest, Subway Caves, Lower Sacramento river and Hat Creek for flyfishing.

Access Road Conditions: Access is good county road with 2 travel directions - however - either direction has 1 mile or 4 miles of 12 month passable gravel road. I am 30 minutes to the closest town and HWY44 ( Shingletown ) about an hour to north entrance of Lassen Park National Park, 45 minutes to Red Bluff, CA and 1 hour to Redding, CA. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Tow vehicles is limited by your ability to back up and navigate my driveway and level parking for a 30 foot trailer or motorhome.. I have a 33 foot motorhome and get around fine, but I have excellent backing skills and cameras. Level parking for 1-2 rigs right off the county road, which gets very, very little traffic.

It was quite a drive to get to Louie's place, but definitely one we would do again. Seeing rural neighborhoods we would never have experienced was fabulous. Communication was on point and definitely make sure you know/understand the directions before you strike out. Was it very cool place to spend the night I wish we had planned for two nights as we got there early evening. A fairly level place to park providing a view of the pond and small area to hang out with tables etc. My husband pulled out his fishing rod and casted for a while but was no luck this time. Louie was kind and informative, we didn't get to spend much time with them as he was off to a barbecue at his neighbors. Clear night skies were amazing and darn close to Lassen NP.

Had a wonderful stay at Louie’s place! Off the beaten path but worth it! Roads are well maintained and a peaceful, quiet setting. Had full day in Lassen Volcanic National Park from the location. Have a small pond for fishing on the property and the night sky is amazing for star gazing! Louie is a great host just make sure you follow his directions in and not google maps! Thank you Louie for a wonderful stay, hope to visit again soon!
