Very close to I-75 and has a very level parking area. Located on a busy road during the day but quiet at night. This is a business location but is much better than Walmart or Cracker Barrel. We had a great evening and night. Thanks Walts Brake & More.
Walt’s Brakes was the perfect location while staying in the Ocala area. Walt and his family have a treasured business history. He provided several sites of interest - the World Equestrian Center was amazing! We highly recommend this location (quiet even though close to a main road).
These hosts are awesome and take hospitality to a new level! Such a wonderful and relaxing time spent in Ocala, even though it rained a lot. A second RV stayed next to me and we all had a great time! We actually met up for church and breakfast a week after my stay!
Very grateful for their hospitality and willingness to host RVers!
Thank you!
This is what you always hope to find while Boondocking. Waltsbrakes host were so very accommodating, gracious and friendly folks, we have made new lifetime friends and feel so very blessed to have met them.
Waltsbrakes is close to I-75 and is a easy to find location, being close to many Ocala restaurants and attractions (ask about MoJo's) Parking is on a level paved lot next to a moderately busy road.
We recommend this host highly.
OMGosh awesome new host !!!!!
We had to run one more errand before leaving the area and it was a perfect stay.
I felt safe safe staying overnight.
Convenience store right down the street a very short walk for coffee.
By a busy road but if you can ignore it then you will be fine.
Awesome to know that we were his first BW person’s. Good luck to ya.
I got in on a weekend when the shop was closed but a quick call to Walt and I was advised to park anywhere on his front lot. The rear of his lot is secured but the front is not. Front lot is close to a fairly busy roadway. There is a convenience/gas station close by. Parking lot was level and other than the torrential rain we had a good night's rest. Met Walt and his wife before leaving in the AM and was told that we were his second guest since becoming a host...Friendly and cordial. Future plans may be to open his secured back lot (locked fence and security cams) for future guests. This would be a great improvement over the front lot parking but works for an overnight stop!
