Spot is located down a sloped gravel driveway, to a fairly level area. We live here, so no partying and use of the fire pit and covered deck is limited until 9 pm.
Our house is located 200 feet from the Indian Ladders trail head, on National Park Service property. Amazing trail which convinced us to move here. Close to the Delaware river. Possible transportation available for canoe/kayak river trips. Rental kayak packages may be available.
More photos will be added soon.

Dark and quiet

We had a very nice stay at Hornbecks. It was overcast so we didn't get to see stars but I'll bet this is a great place for it! Very quiet and remote but easy to get in and out. It's quite a climb up the road to the house but paved and easily doable. We backed in and spent a nice afternoon hiking to a waterfall and along the creek.
Host helped us get hooked up and offered wood and a fire pit but it was sprinkling so we didn't do that, either.
Thanks for a restful night!

A Beautiful Place

Our host was friendly and accommodating. His land is beautiful. There are so many things to do. Shopping in the historic town. A vintage diner that serves excellent food. Many hiking trails and boating activity. I highly recommend this host.

Fantastic Stay

Hornbecks were a pleasure to meet. There land is beautiful and there are beautiful hikes nearby. They gave us valuable information about the area and gave us some ideas for our trip to NYC.

A wonderful stay

What a lovely site! Hosts were welcoming and made sure I was comfortable for the night. They offered water and electric hook ups but I didn’t take advantage. They are in the middle of the Pocono Mountains with trails nearby that were great for walking my dog. Overall a great evening!

Great hiking

The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Beautiful waterfalls on hikes you can get to from their property. We'll hopefully visit again.

Awesome destination in the woods..

Access from the north was an exciting hill climb in our MotorHome. All amenities were nice to have. Will return the next time we're in the neighborhood.

2nd visit.

We stayed with Hornbecker one month ago. Very nice family and accommodating with water and electricity. Much appreciated given the cold weather. Couldn’t ask for a more prettier area. Their son is a gem. Thank you again.
