Retired female married couple from WA traveling USA in our Holiday Rambler C Details: We hail from near Spokane, WA, but retired to Pacific Beach, WA in 2018. We are just beginning to really enjoy retirement by exploring our beautiful world. We travel with a 35# terrier (Sadie Mae). We have family in NC, FL, AZ and in LA, so are including those destinations in our bucket list explorations. We are quiet, easy-going, non-drinkers, non-smokers, and like to be in “home” before dark (mostly). We enjoy exploring the outdoors, birding, photography and painting. Home Town: Pacific Beach, WA Favorite Boondocking Locations: National Forests are our go-to summer destinations and we hope to travel south during winter months to escape the colder weather of the PNW. Skills or Expertise to Share: Lory is pretty handy, so if you need a hand, she is willing to lend one.

The Joe Gals are lovely to chat with, their spot on the creek and ocean is so soecial! The location - omg! million dollar view and in our van we were able to park and see the view the whole time. This spot is perfect for bird watching on the creek and all the way to the beach. We are looking forward to coming back when we can use the kayaks! We will be back.

This property is a little slice of heaven...situated next to the serene Joe River with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean in the near distance. It rained during my stay but there's nothing more peaceful than listening to raindrops on the camper top. I'll definitely go back early summer to experience the fire pit and kayaks! Thanks Jewel Gals for your warm hospitality!!

Thank you for hosting us at your property. Meeting people like you is why I have been a BW member for six years now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the area as well as offering us access to kayaks, a fire ring, and a perfect place for us to safely retreat after each day of exploring. The work you've done to transform undeveloped land to create a getaway spot is amazing.

A lovely place to stay by Joe Creek, a shallow river that flows in front of the parking area. It's a lovely half-mile walk down the creek to the beach. Lots of great birds. Hosts provide spot to park your rig. Very quiet and tranquil place.

From our front door we could walk to the beach, kayak up the creek, and watch a variety of waterfowl bed down on the banks. The hosts were very accommodating and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to camping options around Washington. We would not hesitate to return when in this area.
