Français au bas de ce texte. Our house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. The neighbourhood has less than 10 years old. Being in a semi-rural area, lots are large. The driveway offered to our guests will offer a view to an open space and some shade. Our backyard is crossed by a small creek (but way at the back and not really accessible right now). You may hear distant road traffic and the odd firework on weekends. We offer a 50% discount to members or retired police officers, active or retired emergency personnel and military. So they pay half of nothing all others pay the full nothing. The street is a quiet paved cul-de-sac(dead-end). The driveway to the west of our house is fairly level,it has a gravel base with a slight rise to get on to the street. It will be recommended for vehicles longer than 25ft, to angle a bit in the driveway in order to enjoy as much level ground. Also request that when parking, every attempt is to be made to avoid backing into young apple tree at the back of the driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Can be parked besides RV or on street Note for length: If "overhang" behind rear wheels is long, a couple feet beyond 30 feet can be accomodated, some levelling will be necessary if longer than 30 feet.

Wishing to help - Je veux aider Details: Français plus bas dans le texte Our kids have left the nest, we live in a semi-rural setting, and are willing to share one of our driveway to happy travellers. I am retired, and enjoy photography, some astronomy, reading and taking off with my truck and camper, destination unknown and off-grid (and if possible no cell service). My better half still works (she does not have that much more to go), she enjoys helping out people, "her" MIRA dogs, cooking and taking off in the camper. We are both fluent in french and english. Home Town: We live in Sainte-Sophie, about 50 km north of Montreal. Our house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. It is a town of roughly 16000 that has groceries, gas and diesel, and some offerings when it comes to restaurants. St-Jérôme which is the next city to the west has the full offering when it come to shopping and restaurants. There is a sani-dump located at the town office of Sainte-Sophie about 8km away. Prefers isolated spots, small communities. I am not the "Walmart parking lot type" although it will probably serve me someday. Skills or Expertise to Share: Enjoy astronomy and photography. Versed in mechanical work. Although RV mechanics are still a novelty.

Excellent location between quaint Laurentian Mountain villages and Montreal. Bernie is an very friendly host who provided some excellent information for our planned trip to P.E.I., even giving us a few maps to use on our travels. Easy access to a level parking pad big enough for our 25' rig. Thank you, Bernie!

We really enjoyed our conversation with this very friendly and knowledgeable couple. Their home is seems out in the country yet is only minutes from anything in town.

We had the pleasure to be the first to stay with this host! At our arrival, our host was waiting outside to greet us and to indicate where to park. Once settled, we had a nice chat with him about our travels and boondocking. Also, our host is an amateur astronomer and we had the opportunity to talk with him about astronomy and astrophotography! Finally, our host kindly let us visit his well equipped 4-season RV. Furthermore, we had a peaceful night on this property located on a very quiet street. We warmly recommend this host and hope to have the chance to return at his place in the future!
