Ruth and Harry are the ultimate hosts and now special friends. We first camped together in Poncho Villa State Park, then journeyed to Sparkies in Hatch for outstanding chili cheese burgers, then on to Bosque Farms. Despite being overwhelmed by wonderful Air Stream friends, this SOB had a great time, as Ruth and Harry hosted me at the RV park and at their home. My dogs enjoyed the accommodations too as they had plenty of room to play and poop! These folks are the finest example of what Boondockers Welcome stands for, and if you can catch them at home and not traveling with their friendly dogs, you will have a special treat. Generous, accommodating, and helpful are the special traits found with Ruth and Harry!
What a delightful stay we had at Bosque Farms with Ruthiesue. Our hosts made us feel so much at home. They shared some information on their favorite places to visit around town, and we had a delightful evening visiting with each other.
Our Hosts exemplify why this organization is so wonderful. It's all about meeting great people with shared interests and leaving knowing you have newfound friends.
We left our little oasis this morning to head northward. It was hard saying goodbye to our hosts. We didn't want the good times and fellowship to end.
Think of all the reasons you like Boondockers Welcome, and you will find that they all exist here with these hosts.
Our hope is they will travel to Georgia one day to visit us.
We had a pleasant stay at Ruthiesue’s. Arrived early in the afternoon and Ruthiesue was there to greet us. The drive to their home was a nice ride through the area. Our first time in that area. If you have the opportunity spend a nice evening or 2 with Ruthiesue.
We enjoyed meeting this nice family and staying on their property. They live with easy access to get into the city, and in a gave us a few great recommendations. Their property is beautiful and they were so kind. We highly recommend!
We stayed three nights, it was quiet, and easy to access. Coming from a rural area we enjoyed having bike trails, cattle (with its own farm store) and a winery near by. It was a great location for easy day trips to historic sights and close to all Albuquerque has to offer. We can’t say enough positive about the host and hostess! The went out of the way to
Advise and assist for ideas and help. We feel we going away having met new friends.
Wonderful hosts in a lovely rural community. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and, at our hosts' suggestion, picked up some local fresh dairy products to take home.
The site in their driveway suited our needs just great, tucked away amongst a quiet neighborhood. It was easy to get to and I was surprised that I didn't even need to do any leveling. The hosts helped us hook into power (15V) and offered us water too (we didn't need it). They gave me a refresher course on what the 15V power would accommodate and told me not to hesitate to knock on the door if I had a problem with anything. In the morning, they relayed information about potential bad weather on our travel path and even offered to let us stay another night. You simply can't get better than that.
Ruthiesue hosts were wonderful, and we strongly recommend any members to stop and stay with them. They are warm and welcoming, and they carefully followed Covid distancing, which we appreciated very much! We had a super fast stop, to eat supper, sleep, and get going early in the morning.
It was easy to navigate to their location from the highway, and we are hoping to go back and stay with them again the next time we travel south through their area.
Boondockers welcome is a wonderful system. Thank you to all the generous hosts, you are much appreciated !!!
Ruthiesue and her husband are great hosts. Very personable and accommodating. I enjoyed talking with them, even though it was only for a short time. I would definitely boondock here again.
Also, they had free 15 amp electrical hookup and water if needed. Large driveway that could fit a 30 ft rig.
While all my hosts have been great, this one was the best yet! They were warm, welcoming and even gave me some suggestions related to where I was heading next and directions to the local (free) dump site. Definitely a place I would stay again in a heartbeat! The organic eggs and green chili cheese curds down the road were an added bonus.
