Flagler Trail Retreat is a five minute walk to the Flagler Trail, which is a part of the extensive network of trails that criss cross the State of Florida. We are in a quiet subdivision of homes on 1 to 5 acre lots that adjoin this protected wildlife area. As a result, you may see deer, raccoons, opossum, sand hill cranes, hawks, and many songbirds. We are at the end of the cul de sac, and our property adjoins a horse pasture to the back of the property. Much of the property is still in its beautiful, tropical natural state. We are not completely fenced, so, please keep an eye on your dog if you let them get some off leash exercise. We have a small hobby homestead with laying hens, a raised bed keyhole garden, and the beginnings of a food forest. Robert is from Australia and Ms. Jenny Faye grew up in the Deep South. We love to travel and welcome fellow travelers to our little tropical paradise. You will be parking on our level paved drive either in the front or side yard, based on what is best for your rig. I enjoy travel by road, rail, air and sea! Details: I love to travel and experience different places, cultures and cuisines. I call my little A-Frame rig The Granny Wagon. I usually travel solo, but hubby, Robert, or daughter, Daisy, will sometimes come along with me. Robert is from the Australian outback. I am from the Appalachian foothills of Alabama. I am an Army vet who used the GI Bill to get an education and embark on a career in academic research administration. Throughout my career, I have lived in several states and have travelled to over thirty countries. I am rapidly approaching retirement (early 2022) when I hope to take several long trips to visit friends I have made over the years, see some sites, and make some new friends. I am a friendly introvert who is content to visit or enjoy my own company with a good book or sewing project. Home Town: We live in the countryside in Central Florida. We are in a rural setting that has amenities very near by. We are about 45 minutes from either the theme parks to the west and the Space Coast to the east. UCF is only 15 minutes away. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere with a water view! Skills or Expertise to Share: I sew, cook, can, teach, and am a published author.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They invited us to see their citrus trees, beehives, and horses in the backyard. Their house is very pretty and there was plenty of space parking in their circle driveway. The trail in the neighborhood is great and there is a great dog park nearby! Great stay!

Had a great 2 night stay at Flagler Trail Retreat. Jenny greeted me upon arrival and showed me where to park. Nice, level spot with 15 amp electric available for a very reasonable rate. Jenny gave me a tour of their property whuch has chickens, garden spaces and backs up to a neighbors horse pasture. Slept well both nights. What a wonderful spot! Hoping to return in the future and check out the Flagler Trail. Thank you Jenny and Robert for your hospitality!
