Quiet neighborhood. Driveway is along the side of house and looks out into a pretty city park and creek. The driveway size and slope permits a 28’ class C or A motor home. If your trailer is < 25’ coupler to back of bumper(or storage rack) you can fit with careful backing up skills. Greater than 25’ won’t work. The driveway is sloped so about 3" of lift on the curb side levels things up. You can walk down our steep grassed backyard into a city park with a stream, tennis courts, basketball courts and 3 playgrounds all within 5 minutes of our driveway. The walking and bike trail goes along Pistol creek for many miles. A 1.5 mile walk downstream will take you to 2 nice coffee shops, Vienna Coffee or Southern Grace. Maryville is a town of about 30,000, has a beautiful college(Maryville College) and excellent library, 2 Walmarts, 3 large supermarkets, HomeDepot, many restaurants, all within 15 minutes. Camping World 20 minutes. Additional languages: Bulgarian and French. Local farmers' market is Saturday 9-12 AM during the warm months and is a 2 mile bike ride. Suggested Local Attractions: 30 minutes to Great Smoky Mountains National Park(Townsend) and Knoxville. Dollywood 1 hour, Chattanooga 2 hours, Nashville 3 hours, Atlanta 3.5 hours. Smokey Mt. Harley Davidson 15 minutes. (Drive times are for car not RV). Summer is hot and humid. Spring wildflowers, fall colors.

House Rules

Want to keep it very quiet and low profile for me and my neighbors(no generators, very quiet dogs/kids). I accept only those with photos of their campers and do not take those that are run down, schoolies, or homebilts. I like them all very much, but want to keep in the good graces with all my neighbors.

Larry's place worked great for us. It was close to the mountains and convienient to stores and restaurants. A really nice greenway awaits at the back of his yard. u We would stay here again if in the area.

Wonderful spot to stop and spend the night! We enjoyed walking the park loop and then a stroll into town to find dinner and entertainment for the evening. We used our caravan mover to position our small trailer into the parking spot.

This is a hidden gem! The host Larry was so helpful when I arrived. He helped me back my Van down the driveway, hooked up my electricity and even had a chair and table(cooler) ready for the night. Unfortunately, it was too hot and muggy that night to enjoy the beautiful view. His house was located right behind a city park which was perfect to walk my dog. Couldn't have asked for a nicer host!! Hope to return someday.
