This is pretty much just a very large parking spot and that is all. (can help fill up your water tank). But, I am close to the ferry that takes you to Seattle. Park here, bike, drive, uber, taxi, walk (its a good hike, about 4 miles), to the ferry. Relax on the ferry and arrive in Seattle in about an hour. Seattle is a very walkable city, take the day shopping, eating, drinking and come back on the ferry. Your rig will be waiting for you to come back and rest after your great day of touring Seattle. Also, a great to place to park if you would like to explore the Olympic Peninsula. So much to see and do here.
Please run generators SPARINGLY at regular hours as this is a quiet neighborhood and you will be near my neighbors. Generators off by 9pm and not on before 8am. Dogs should be kept on leashes, there are many who walk their dogs around our very quiet neighborhood, pick up after your pet. No Smoking on property please.
Right off the street with lots of room to just pull in, flat area. When you are coming to my address, I assume you are using a GPS or something like that. As you are getting close to my house you will see the LARGE parking area on Pinewood, just before you get to the stop sign. (My address is on Pinecone Dr but you will park on the side of my house on Pinewood. ) This is my land and your new home for a few days! If you get to the stop sign you went to far.... your spot is on the right, not to worry, If you go to far you can turn right at the stop sign and the road will circle round and you can try again by turning right on Pinecone follow the circle around and coming back for a second try! lol
Area is pretty flat and large so you can pull right in, no backing up required.
So much to do in Seattle, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Gardens,The underground tour, Museums galore. So much to do you might need a few days! If you have a tow car you can spend your days at the most glorious hiking adventures right here on the Olympic Peninsula. Wonderful small towns to visit including Gig Harbor, Port Townsend, Poulsbo and Silverdale just to name a few. All offering great shopping, unique dining adventures and beautiful scenery.
Seattle in Sight is a wonderful place to stay while we visit our daughter and her family! Nice neighborhood with a large level area to park our rig. Our host met us upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay here again.
Excellent stay here! Easy parking! The owner couldn't have been more gracious and kind and helpful. And the area around Bremerton has tons of things to see and do. A return visit is on my list.
Sandy was a wonderful host, and recommended local areas to enjoy. She was about to accommodate us and had easy to understand parking instructions, plenty of easy flat land to cruise into. Thank you so much!
Sandy was a great guest! The location is great if wanting to explore Seattle. The ferry is only 10 minutes away. Nice quiet place and would love to stay again!
Our host was great.. Was greeted as I pulled into our spot. Gave me advice on local shopping and restaurants. My stay was during a heatwave (100+ degrees) that hit the pacific NW in late June 2021. I was allowed to operate my generator several hours a day so that I could run my AC. I couldn't be happier with our host and would recommend to anyone that would like to stay in the Seattle area.
We could not have asked for a more gracious host! We were in the Bremerton area visiting family. Seattle-in-Sight was more than accommodating; even to the point of offering us (the whole family) her back yard as a meeting place. We shared camper tips and toured each other's rigs, had great conversations about all sorts of topics, and even enjoyed a cold beverage together. We did not have time to explore the area on this trip... maybe next time. THANK YOU SEATTLE-IN-SIGHT!
We had an awesome time, sightseeing and enjoying all the beautiful area had to offer. Would love to visit again.
Seattle-in-Sight is a wonderful, caring host who is attentive to the needs of their guests. The space to park in is large and long. Plenty of space for a rig larger than mine. You park in a calm quiet neighborhood close to the main strip on the north half of Bremerton.
I visited Seattle in Sight with the intent to stay for 2 nights. Instead the big storm that knocked out Texas hit up here and dumped a bunch of snow all over. I got stuck away from my RV and had to come back later. The owner was nothing but kind, thoughtful, and accommodating! I really appreciated hey understanding and how to stay here in the future.
