Behind our house is a few acres of field. Next to my shop/ guest house is water hose & electric outlet. Also have other possibilities adjacent to other outbuildings that have electricity and water. We do have a lot of friends and family visits in July, August and into September so no guarantees we'll always have space but we try. We've had many guests lately and many want electric and water. I've just started asking $5.00/night because it is impacting our bills but still planning to donate proceeds to local charity. Suggested Local Attractions:Close to beautiful harbors in Rockport and Camden. Many lakes & state park lands close by.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Might be a few light branches if you're over 12' tall otherwise, our 11'6" tall truck camper does fine. Long driveway but anything under a big Class A should be fine. I don't think over 32 foot would make it around an outbuilding. We've had several damaging impacts from people pushing it on rigs over 30 feet so please don't ask to come if your over 30 feet ! As long as we're not in super wet mud season, field offers easy turn around. But who wants to be in Maine before May anyways. Its not exactly a pull through situation, more of a turn around in the field. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: You can leave it connected or park next to your rig but pleasedon'tblockdriveway. Plenty of level space.

Accommodating Details: Active couple that travels to & from across country and between Baja, Mexico and British Columbia with skis, snowboards, surfboards, SUP, kiteboards. Sounds exhausting really but feel very fortunate to be retired and still able to participate in activities which have been the culture I've identified with mostly. Home Town: Rockport, Maine Favorite Boondocking Locations: Baja, Mexico. West Texas, in the mountains when its above freezing temperatures. Skills or Expertise to Share: Pretty handy with boats which translates to RV'S. Love to "putter" with projects in my shop. Not afraid to attempt to fix most mechanical items & know enough when I shouldn't. Not offering any repair work though, have too many projects already.

This stay was really nice. George and his wife Eliza are really nice people. George was very responsive to messages and gave us a great place to park our RV. Eliza gave us some good info on places to ride our bikes. My wife and I really appreciate the hospitality!

Stayed a week ago, sorry for the late review!! Great location for exploring the area, and easy parking with a few options to choose from. Agree with other reviewer who said read the directions carefully so you don't drive past. Also, unhook toads beforehand, there's a YMCA just down the road that should work. Great communication and lovely hostess who greeted us as the host was out of town, she gave us suggestions and made us feel very welcome. Recommended!

Be sure to read the directions provided for arriving at the location, and go slow leading up to their road, or you’ll drive by like we did. I would suggest unhooking any towed vehicles nearby, as the corner around the garage to the back field is a tight squeeze. We made it just fine in our 30’ class C, but took it slow. The field itself is nice. We were able to slowly drive around to find a level spot without needing blocks. Great place to stay to go into Camden and Rockport.
