Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostImportant things to note: This is a quiet residential neighborhood fairly close to I35 (E & W). Water hookup is limited by season; outdoor access is only available approx. mid-March to mid-October (weather pending). Be prepared for alternatives. There is a community dump station within 5 miles of my home.
> Non-aggressive Dog/s welcome. No excessive barking. There is a yellow Lab on site. Tie outs in the front can be used, otherwise please keep your pup/s on leash or lead of your own. There is no fence. Our Lab will be kept on lead or leash while you are here.
> No smoking on property.
> No parties or persons other than your own travel family.
> Noise levels should be kept down, as it's a peaceful neighborhood.
> You are welcome to use the front yard and the section of driveway you are parked on for yourselves to place chairs, bbq. Please keep any fires safely away from vehicles and campers.
> Lastly, you are welcome to explore the back yard in the day to sit by the waterfall, or pick raspberries if they are ripe. I just ask you leave the wooden deck and concrete patio (back) for my use alone and not use the back yard after 7pm.
> Extra-Quiet hours from 10pm-8am weekdays. Weekends 11pm-9am.
The roads are smooth but within a neighborhood. On a slight hill.
Depending on the size of your rig and tow vehicle, you may be able to park in front of your own rig or in front of mine. If not, street parking is available.
I have blocked off most of cold season as it's harder to boondock at my home. You are welcome to ask, if you are prepared to dry camp (electric still available, no water) and if the driveway is not too covered in snow to fit.
Within 10-25 minutes drive from home you can access the Mall of America, Valley Fair Amusement park, Canterbury Park (seasonal horse racing, etc.), Renaissance Fair (seasonal), Apple Valley Aquatic Center/ Water park, Mystic Lake Casino, local Apple Orchards and Farm markets. There are also several local lakes for swimming and very nice golf courses in the area. We are en route to Minnesota's infamous North Shore / Boundary Waters, etc., and a vast array of state parks and forests for exploring in Minnesota.
