We are only about 5 miles away from the big box stores, Walmart, Home Depot Etc. So not far to go to get supplies and Groceries. Its only about a 50 minute drive out to the coast in Belfast Maine if you're looking for some coastal Scenery and maybe a sea food dinner. Just 2hrs from Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine.

We would prefer you don't show up before 1pm the day you check in, but can be flexible to some extent. Quiet time 10 pm We prefer your gone by noon ,but may be flexible on this depending on each situation and if we have other guests arriving the day you're supposed to leave. Dogs can be off the leash only in fenced in area. No more than 6 people to a camper
Location
Access Road Conditions: The spot can be Access fairly easy as long as you are comfortable backing up your RV. We live on a 2 lane road and sometimes have to wait for traffic to clear before attempting to back in. depending on what time you arrive there may be someone here to help guide you in and direct traffic. You'll be parking on a paved driveway next to our garage. Overhead Clearance is 13' 4" under the phone and cable tv line from the poll to the house. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Tow vehicle can be parked directly in line with your RV or we can make room in the main driveway.

Outdoor enthusiasts Details: My wife and I have loved going camping 🏕 for over 20 years with ourchildren. Our kids are all grown, so it's just the 2 of us now. We just bought ourselves a new travel trailer and plan on traveling the USA in a few years and thought this would be a great way to meet other like minded travelers and learn what's out there. Home Town: Winslow, Maine Favorite Boondocking Locations: We haven't boondocked yet only hosting. We are planning to travel a lot in 2023 in hopes of finding a favorite then. Skills or Expertise to Share: David has many different skills that he's learned over the years. Jack of all trades master of none 😆 Basically he's learned to do most of his own Maintenance on everything we own only because we really hate paying labor for something if we can do ourselves. Michelle has been a homemaker taken care of our 3 beautiful children over the years while they grew up and now spends a lot of her time working in the medical field taken care of the elderly and hospice patients ♥

David was very kind even though traffic problems forced our arrival time later than we would have liked and it was quite dark by the time we arrived. Nevertheless, he was looking for us and flagged us down with a flashlight and helped me back into the parking pad with a minimum of fuss, thanks to his good directing! We spent a short time chatting with David and Michelle and even though he had to leave at 2:30 AM for work, he took the time to help us level our rig (not that it needed much) make sure we knew where the power was if we wanted to use it and help us get squared away. The parking pad is very nice, level from side to side and I just needed a little nose up to be perfect. It is right next to their garage and apparently where they used to park their rig which is now on the other side of the house. We spent a quiet night and were able to get up and out in short order in the morning. They are indeed close to the big box stores so if you need to resupply before hitting the road everything you want is close by. We enjoyed chatting with the hosts and their patience with our changing arrival times (I did keep them informed every couple of hours - I had no idea the traffic would be THAT bad!). We would definitely stay there again and would hope they would have us as guests in the future.

David and Michelle could not have been nicer. David helped my husband back in from the road, made sure we were level, and both David and Michelle were great to talk to. Enjoyed seeing their rig and sharing information about planning a cross country trip. Great place to stop on our way to Canada.

They communicate very well, no problem finding them. Parking on asphalt and was level. We really enjoyed visiting with fellow rv'ers David and Michelle. Hope to see them when they take their big trip out west next year! Look us up!

I enjoyed my visit here. The hosts/family were all very kind and accommodating. I really liked talking to them. Hookups were easily accessible and the spot was super convenient to get into. Thanks again for a wonderful stay 😊

Great stay- David forewarned us that he was “under the weather” but gracious in letting us stay with appropriate social distancing. Close to road, but very doable.
