This location does have a couple of options for parking. We typically send a map of the available spots once a request is made. Weather and time of year can change the availability. There is no fenced in area for pets but campers are welcome to use the property for pets to run at their discretion. The parking is located just 3 miles from the main highway and only one mile from Ft. Gibson Lake. The park at the lake does allowing dumping for just $5 if needed after your stay.
There is a small gas station/store about 1/4 of a mile up the road.
Speed limit is 5 mph on the property. Do not block storage unit doors for long periods during business hours (this shouldn't be a problem with the space available). Be respectful of other renters on the property.
The main road to the parking is a pretty good paved road with no steep inclines/declines. The parking area is gravel. The gravel goes all the way around the storage building and RVers may drive all the way around.
The parking is pretty open. Just keep doors to boat storage units clear during business hours.
Ft. Gibson Lake - fishing, swimming, boating
We stayed at this host site in our 40' motorhome towing an F-150 so we needed 62' plus room to maneuver so we could pull through. This host had plenty of room for us. Communication was excellent. The host texted us a diagram well ahead of our stay to show us where to pull in, and gave us some parking options. There was a large grassy area for the dogs to run a bit. The tenants on the property were friendly and invited us over to visit. The host's family welcomed us and told us where we could get water and dump our tanks if needed. Overall, we felt welcomed and had a good night's sleep and got back on the road the next morning. We are very thankful that we were allowed to park here overnight.
We stayed for 5 nights at R3g rentals. We parked along side one of their storage units, and felt tucked away in a quiet safe place. There was a nice patch of grass for our 2 boys (3&5) to play in and a big gravel parking lot behind the building where they could ride bikes. My husband was able to do some upgrades inside our bus, because they allowed us to use power tools, as no one around during the day. We have solar on our bus, so completely self sustained, but a perfect place to park. The hosts were not there, but very easy and quick to communicate via the app. Their sister lives on the property in a camper and she was very kind and hospitable. We will definitely stay again when we come through the area. Thanks!
We stayed at R3g Rentals for 2 nights. The location is very convenient and easy in-out from the road. No problem for big rigs. The road was relatively quiet, but we parked behind the storage building anyway. We felt very safe on the lot and enjoyed meeting the folks on the property. It is a very peaceful setting. Thank you R3g Rentals!!
