It was a nice relaxing spot with easy power and water hookups. We appreciate the privacy they gave us during the stay.
What a great stay! Being our first Boondockers Welcome, the bar was set high! 50 amp, water, quiet and a host that goes out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. We'll be back! -Marc & Trish
Very pleasant country home setting. Next to a pine forrest, level site. What more could you ask for? We would stay there again.
Our hosts were very kind to let us stay on their lovely land. We were able to visit with my aunt and her daughter. We ended up leaving late in afternoon before our second night. So we could stay overnight at a Cracker Barrel near Atlanta and get thru Atlanta before sun rise. Would love to come back and visit longer next time. -Judi and Bill.
Great place !! Enjoyed our time on the quiet and peaceful farm! Brian was a wonderful host. He was very helpful in every way possible!
We spent two nights here and had a fantastic stay! It rained both days but we were up on a hill with water and electric! The host met us on the driveway and directed us to our site upon arrival! Easy back in with enough room to swing a big rig! Thank you to our host for taking great care of us and allowing us to stay on this beautiful property! We will come back here if we need a place to stay again!
Just stayed over night. Looked like and awesome spot to hang out for a few days.
Wonderful hosts and a beautiful piece of property. We were blessed to spend our night here and hope to return on our way south. Thank you!
Great host, great site, quiet nights, even great weather. AT&T data download speed 6 to 8 Mbps was adequate for everything I needed. Hope that this couple can visit us at our NE PA site.
We only stayed overnight but our host made us feel very welcome and comfortable. He couldn’t have been any more pleasant and accommodating. It was a very quiet and peaceful stop. Very easy to get to and convenient to US 1 as well as I-16. We’re thru that area at least a couple times a year and we will definitely make it one of our stops again!
Beautiful homestead. Plugged in by RV overhang next to woods for a quiet night of rest. We did enjoy the three types of frogs serenading us all night.
Nice level spot, quiet, didn't hear a train whistle all night like a lot of campgrounds we have stayed at. First rate folks.
Host met us when we arrived and directed us where to park. He even supplied wooden levelers! Once set up we really enjoyed the view of their property which included a pond. So relaxing, just the place we needed to take a break from traveling. Highly recommend.
I arrived around 7 PM… Brian came out to the end of his driveway and showed me where to park the rig and helped me with the electricity set up… Nice man nice conversation.. he let me dump my black water and gray water tanks and his septic system..Perfect overnight stay beautiful home beautiful area… Thank you
A gift to stay in a safe, quiet place off the travel-weary drive of Highway 16. Many thanks to a welcoming, kind host we hope to visit again.
Brian was extremely helpful and a great host for a one night stay. Beautiful place to just relax and very quiet. Appreciated the 30 amp hook up and the water as well.
It was a great stay. The view was beautiful, and it was a nice tranquil place. We loved walking around, and our dog loved it too. We also had hookups, which was greatly appreciated. Overall a very nice place, highly recommend it.
This was a beautiful place to stay. Water, electric were available for a very reasonable price.
The owners are very nice.
We would definitely stay again.
Our hosted greeted us on the main road and showed us to his beautiful property conveniently located on our way from Atlanta to Savannah. He offered us power and water and offered us anything else we would’ve needed. He was very welcoming and friendly and his lush, pond side property was gorgeous. The frogs at night were a fascinating sound (but still made for very peaceful sleep!) and the birds in the morning made for a tranquil place to wake up. We only stayed one night but would’ve happily stayed longer or will return if our schedule allows. Thank you!
The hosts are wonderful. So grateful for them to open their land up to me. This place is just beautiful. I parked above the pond. I had beautiful sunrises & sunsets. The country roads & small towns remind me of my childhood. I can not recommend more.
We had a great stay here! Property was lovely, as was our hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of at our spot. Would definitely stay here again if we come thru the area in the future. Our dogs enjoyed walking around their beautiful pond.
Great two night stay. Hosts have a piece of paradise in the beautiful State of Georgia.
The host greeted me and was very gracious and helped me park. Offered me 30 amp and water. Sat by the pond and took walks around property. Greeted me when I left. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Many thanks!
Spent a couple of nights here boondocking by the pond. Host met us as we came in the drive and gave us a couple options that would work for our 40' 5er in the field overlooking the pond. The property is lovely, listening to the frogs in the evening was magical, and the hospitality was great. We spent some time in Partin Park in nearby Lyons, which has a nice walking trail and a few playgrounds the kids enjoyed. Thanks so much for having us!
Our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Thanks!
The Old Folks Couple are the sweetest, kindest and most caring couple ever. This was our first stay in Georgia and they helped us fall in love with this beautiful state even more. Their property is beautiful and peaceful and they offered us electricity and water which is always helpful. Brian answered all our questions starting from RV power issues to finding a propane refill place in the town. They told us about all the places that we should see in Georgia and at the end, they gave us oranges and guided us on the road to avoid the dirt roads.
B., T., we are honored to have met you and we can't wait to see you again.
Our host was so welcoming and a great communicator. He met us at the driveway, and kindly escorted us to a perfect boondocking spot next to the lake across from his beautiful home. Another friendly boondocker came in simultaneously and there was plenty of room for the two of us! Perfect overnight spot, but wish we could’ve stayed longer and hope to return again to these friendly folks!
Brian went above and beyond with assistance to make our stay outstanding! He has great advice and great stories! Wish we were able to stay longer!
We sure did enjoy our stay at the old folks place. He came out in a horrible storm to escort us onto his property. He is a kind and caring man. We sure hope they will come to our place so we can reciprocate their kindness under less than perfect conditions.
Very peaceful and quiet, host was friendly and helpful, meeting us at the road and guiding us into the property. Great place to stay!
Quiet area, easy access, good solid ground. The host communicated very well prior to our arrival and went out of his way to be helpful once we arrived. We enjoyed visiting with him. Glad we stayed at this location and would do it again if we are in the area. Recommended.
Lovely private safe spot. Lots of room for our dog to run. Thank you so much to our hosts.
Hosts are very accommodating and kindhearted. Stay was very good for us as we love the country and outdoors. Our dog Belle found a friend, Killer, that had the energy she has. They had a great time playing. Site is exactly as described. Hope to stay again.
Brian greeted us at the entrance to his farm with a genuine warmth, and led us to the spot we chose - next to his rig. He bustled around helping us set up, even putting down some ground cover for us to keep out of the mud due to the rains. Just one night this trip but look forward to returning.
Short stay on a cold, rainy night warmed by a kind, generous host. Would stop again in a heartbeat.
