We have a two acre property near Ichetucknee Springs State Park as well as the Santa Fe River and the Suwannee River. We are close to US 27 between Fort White, FL and Branford, FL. We live on the property during the winter months in our RV. The boondocker sites are on the opposite end of the property from our RV. The property is surrounded by trees and is often visited by deer. Many bird species can be seen around the property. The RV sites are on grass, some shade and some sun, however they are not totally level. We have one fire pit available for RV use at the moment. There is no light on the property at night except for our RV. Star gazing can be great during a new moon. Over all this is a very quiet area for the outdoorsy types.

There are local canoe and kayak operations available close by. The Santa Fe River is a very nice canoeing river with abundant wildlife. Tubing is offered in the Ichetucknee Springs State Park. We are very close to the Suwannee River Greenway, a paved bike path along US 27 and US 129 which will lead you to Fort White or Branford making it about a 14 mile round trip to the Suwannee River. We are near 20 springs, some of them allowing SCUBA diving or tubing. Gainesville is a short 30 minute drive. High Springs has a Publix and Winn Dixie grocery store and is about 15 min away. The closest Walmart is in Lake City. A new Tractor Supply is being built in Branford and should be open Jan 2021. The usual fast food selection can be found in High Springs with a McDonalds in Branford. Gainsville is about a 30 minute drive and has the major stores and great attractions like the Museum of Natural History and Devil's Millhopper park.
After helping us locate a spot to camp, our hosts visited with us for quite awhile. Both were extremely friendly. They made sure we were set before saying food night. When we left the next morning, he was out to say goodbye. Nice place and wonderful people.
Floats were wonderful hosts! Greeted us and helped us get into our spot. The middle spot we chose had us perfectly level!
