I am building an RV site and it is a work in progress. It is next to a pole barn. The parking area is finished but am still working on the picnic area. However, a picnic table is set up in the pole barn in the mean time.
I have a 50amp hook up. Please bring a 30amp adapter if you need 30amp. They are about $7 -9 at Wal-Mart or I can supply one to borrow.
I absolutely love dogs but have to say no due to the foxes, raccoons and Sandhill Cranes that visit almost daily. I've had dogs chase and scare them off for days, weeks and sometimes, forever. Any other pets are pretty much welcome.
The previous owners of my house had an extra sewer put in at the street. You can dump on the way in or out or both.
My home has security cameras and motion detection lights. Your stay is very safe here.
The RV site overlooks a Florida hammock of elephant ears, palm trees, scrub and a peek at the beautiful Rainbow River. See "Suggested Local Attractions" for more.
Very sorry, no dogs. Other pets allowed.
Only very small, above ground fires permitted.
Some low hanging branches. Does not affect smaller campers.
Parking available in driveway
I travel much and really can't offer availability dates. Please contact me and we'll go from there. Thank you!
You can Google information about the beautiful Rainbow River, Dunnellon and see why it attracts thousands every weekend.
My home is walking distance to the river and a bike ride to the kayak ramp, river beach and boat ramp.
For $10 per person (up to two people) I can supply two kayaks and a ride to the head of the river and pick you up at the end of the river. It's about a 1.5 to 2 hour paddle with the current. There are restaurants on the river to stop and eat.
There are tiki bars, restaurants, a beautiful park for walking/biking and antique shops nearby. Bring your bicycles and you'll have much fun exploring this small town.
