Location
Access Road Conditions: We live in the country on a 2 lane paved road. We have a wide drive but if you have a 5th wheel you just have to swing wide to miss the walls at the driveway entrance AND swing very wide to make it around the circle drive. Larger rigs will want to come in to our drive from the east; the intersection to the west is two county roads and may be tight. I have 4+ locations: Circular drive in front of the house. This is about a 70' diameter drive. Larger rigs will still need to swing wide. There is 15 (maybe 20) amp electric and water available here. Circular drive in back of the house. This is about a 30' diameter drive. The max that can turn around in this drive is around a 33' 5th wheel (and that is challenging). Overhead clearance is just enough for a larger 5th wheel. Larger rigs will definitely need a spotter to make this turn. There is a 60A welder plug here that I have adapters for to get to 50A, 30A, or 15/20A. Water is available here. Pull off on east side of front circular drive. This is a 50' drive that is an entrance for our barn. There is a 60A welder plug here that I have adapters for to get to 50A, 30A, or 15/20A. Water is available here. Water is available but we have to run a hose across the main driveway so it can only be used to fill your tank to avoid running over it. Parking is also available in our back pastures, but it needs to be dry, and water/electric is pretty far away for all but one.

Law Enforcement Professional with 5 acre property Details: My wife, daughter, and I live about a mile out of town on a 5 acre property with a circle drive in front and a circle drive behind the house. We have 7 dogs that are usually contained, along with 4 horses, chickens, and 2 outdoor cats. We also have a second property with no electricity or wifi, but it has a pond and is a nice primitive site for smaller rigs. 5th wheels will find it almost impossible to get in. Home Town: Richmond, IN Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm mechanically inclined and can help with minor repairs if needed.

Convenient to enter and exit, close to town but in a scenic, quiet rural setting. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Good if you like horses, chickens, and dogs (watch your step in the yard). And fresh eggs available for purchase! We would readily return here and highly recommend!

We stayed 2 days to view the total eclipse. The hosts were super accomodating. The location was easy to find & easy to park. My husband was planning to do eclipse photography & it was the perfect setup. We came for the eclipse but expect to be back in the future with our bikes to ride the greenway rails to trails. Highly recommend.
