Cellular service is spotty here especially around Memorial Day,July 4 week and Labor Day. Water is available and 15 amp electricity. Small donation for electricity appreciated if you use it. Class B and C no problems but trailers need to be not too long to back in the driveway. Suggested Local Attractions:Reedville watermens museum

House Rules

Be considerate and peaceful. If you smoke please do it away from us and take your cig butts with you. Cut generators off at a decent hour. No aggressive barking dogs please. Leave things the way you found them is all I ask. You are welcome to sit on the dock and watch the water and birds fish etc.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Dead end street here but large turnaround area there. I already mentioned size limitations. There are some low hanging trees over the road near our house. All good roads no gravel or dirt. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We are on a quiet cul-de-sac I can park my 17.5 camping trailer in the driveway no problem. It is a single axle so turns easily. A class B or C 25 or under would be no problem. Trailers need to be small to back in. Quiet generators in the daytime are no problem. We have water but only 20 amp electric. Campgrounds nearby for dumping.

Camper Boater Golfer Fisherman. Welcome to our spot. Details: I am semi-retired. The wife and I have many interests and we love meeting new people. So we thought Boondockers would be perfect. Home Town: We are on the water at the confluence of the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay. Our place is on a cul-de-sac very quiet flat ground great for bicycling and walking. There is a nearby public beach very uncrowded and if we are home we can take you to our private beach here. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am an avid boater and do my own repairs and maintenance. My wife is an excellent cook of authentic Mexican dishes from Sinaloa and Sonora.

This place is off of the beaten path and was a perfect place to spend the night. Jimmy was helpfull in many ways from a tour around the neighborhood and sharing travel advice for the area. as we were leaving I noticed a very low tire and he quickly hooked up an air compressor to get us up and going to a service station not far away to fix us up. we would stay here again if ever through this area again.

this host was nice enough to offer his driveway when we were caught in a storm. we decided not to stay the night, mainly because we could not access the internet or our phone (verizon), and we needed to communicate with family at the time. there is a dock and the area is wooded and lovely, if a bit buggy. we were grateful to have the opportunity to stay if the storms did not pass, which they did.

I was looking forward to getting away from the crowded metro area and this little spot was just what I needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Being remote, the phone signal is sketchy but, sometimes we just need to shut that thing off. Thanks for your hospitality. I've added a few photos to my Boondockers Gallery on my website => http://us-photography.com/Travel/Boondockers/

Very attentive host; offering water and electricity! Great wide and level driveway, multiple views in the community of creeks, river, and bay including from their pier, level walking and biking areas with no traffic, and pet friendly.
