40 acre farm with livestock.
We live a quiet, respectful life in the woods and expect the same so please no barking dogs, generators, loud music, gunfire etc. Children are fine but be advised that this is a working farm,(albeit small scale) with the inherent dangers associated with such an operation.
I put one night stay but if you want more just ask, as for electricity, water, etc. we can talk and try to help you out.
Somewhat tight turn off of dirt road in to lane.
Due to the fact that some guests have arrived only to be intimidated by the turn from the road in to the lane I have added a couple of photos of the approach, please take a look at these..Almost any car/truck trailer combination should be able to make this turn without difficulty. The lane is 1/4 mile long but once you pass through the entrance it opens and is easy passage.
40 acres-lots of space
We love to travel also, if we're going to be home you are welcome. Safe travels !
hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, biking(paved and mt.)streams, river etc.
Tree tunnel Lane opens to well-maintained farmette. Hosts shared their van fit out in detail giving us some ideas. Also shared their pears and lifestyle. Plant and animal life flourishes here.
Marty is an excellent host with a gorgeous property. Wild turkeys, rabbits and deer were some of the wild animals that we saw in addition to Marty's chickens, cattle and hogs. This is a little piece of paradise with amazing sunsets and Marty is an experienced RVer as well, which makes it fun to talk with him. We'll be back for sure!
Both were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the pears they shared with us. These folks and their willingness to share their property is what makes America the best!
TravelinVan is a great host. Plenty of room for your rig. Beautiful and peaceful. Lots of wildlife to see. It’s somewhat tight coming off the gravel road.
