Description

Two acres of land in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, close to Mt. St Helen’s. A short ride to hiking and biking trails, sno-parks, lakes for boating & stocked for fishing, and an RV campground. General store nearby for things you may need. The property itself is quiet and peaceful. We have a creek flowing through the middle of the property and deer and elk passing through regularly. No light pollution so stargazing is incredible! We live here year-round and welcome campers to enjoy the peace and quiet of our off-grid property. We offer a large parking area for several vehicles, a vehicle pulling a camper, or a small RV (~28’ or less). We have an electrical hookup & potable well water. We're always adding new things to the site to improve your experience!

*Our cabin is in a small neighborhood of 8 homes. One of the homes is visible from the campsite during winter and spring when the vegetations thins out. You may or may not see neighbors during your stay depending on the time of year you visit.

House Rules

Please be respectful of our property and our neighbors at all times. Pack out your trash/waste. Clean up after your pet if they poop in or close to the campsite or structures. Campfires allowed when no Skamania County burn-ban is in effect. We try to limit evening & nighttime noise out of respect for neighbors and wildlife. If you need something or have an emergency, let us know! We live here all year and can probably help you out. Please don't be afraid to ask.

***THERE IS A TEMPORARY BURN BAN IN PLACE FOR SKAMANIA COUNTY FROM 04/16/21 UNTIL 04/22/21DUE TO DRIER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS. NO CAMPFIRES ALLOWED AT THIS TIME. COOKING ON GAS STOVES IS ALLOWED.***

Access Road Conditions

Paved/developed National Forest Road. Gravel private road and driveway. Parking area has two gated and sloped driveways. One is approx. 6% grade, the other approx. 8%. Gates open onto a single-lane gravel road. Each gate opening is 20' wide. You will need to be able to level your vehicle/camper/RV.

Tow Vehicle Parking Details

There's plenty of space to park at the site but we can also park other vehicles elsewhere on the property (next to workshop at the campsite or up by the main house).

Nice place in the country

Pretty place, nice hosts. Level area for parking is limited. Check how to leave when gate is closed. No cell service, plan accordingly
