Limited space available and difficult entry limits me to 2 class B or 1 class B and 1 class C, no longer than 25 feet. No trailers allowed unless you want to park on the street with no services. I am 16 miles from White Sands National Park, and there are several attractions locally and within short drives. Carlsbad Caverns are about 3 hours away. I am centrally located in Alamogordo. RV parking here is on dirt in my backyard with no fencing. It's not pretty, but it is fairly level and the area is quiet and safe. I no longer have enough room for 5th wheels, or trailers with slideouts. There is a free dump station at the Chamber of Commerce, 1301 N White Sands Blvd, Alamogordo, NM. There is also a free dump site at the Otero County Fairgrounds, 401 Fairgrounds Rd. Suggested Local Attractions: White Sands National Monument New Mexico Museum of Space History Alameda Park Zoo Tularosa Basin Museum Toy Train Depot Town of Cloudcroft Three Rivers Petroglyph Site Sunspot National Solar Observatory

You are welcome to use my outside 120V electric box, and hook up to my outdoor city water tap. A generator can be used on a limited basis. A dumpster is very close, and a free RV dump station is less than 2 miles away. I am also less than 2 miles from 2 Wal-Mart stores. The large Wal-Mart off White Sands Blvd and 1st Street still allows overnight stays. There is a decent hospital about 3 miles away if needed. I generally only check my emails in the morning, and late at night, so don't expect immediate responses. If you are approved for a stay here, best contact with me is by phone or text at 575-404-0195.

Retired widower and avid fly fisher. Details: Retired engraver and trophy shop owner. My wife passed away in January 2020. I enjoy meeting people, and these Covid restrictions have been a real pita. While I go along with social distancing, I do not wear a mask on my property. With really good family genes, I am pretty healthy and active. I like to say all my health problems are in my head (dentures, glasses, hearing aids). I am interested in many topics, but prefer to avoid politics and religion. I try to live my life by the Golden Rule. Home Town: I live in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I am 84 miles northeast of El Paso, Texas, and an easy 4 hour drive southeast of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere fly fishing is close by. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have good general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanics.

It was pretty quiet overall, & got even more silent as the evening wore on. I slept great! Ted was a pleasure to talk to. Very close to White Sands & Three Rivers Petroglyphs. Enjoyed my stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Almogordo and the White Sands National Park, and the convenient lovation of Ted’s humble abode was a big reason why! There is a barking dog next door but it didn’t bother us! We would definitely stay again if in the area!
