We have an 8x16 theater in the woods with a projector and seating for over 25.

We have fair amount of trails both gravel and pine needle. Most of our woods are beautiful pines.

We have a clean working outhouse that is available for those who need a facility.

We have a pergola with a living area, beautiful outdoor kitchen, and gas firepit . We have a huge bonfire pit, and other campfire accessories throughout the property. Firewood may or may not be available depending on stock.

We usually have 5 deer 🦌 roaming the property. We join up to about 30 wooded acres total. Tons of wildlife and birds.

we have a camping supply store PETE'S CAMPING within 2 miles with anything you might need including service center.

Great hosts with a quiet area to enjoy.

Great hosts with a lovely wooded area to enjoy. This was a welcoming setting that we look forward to returning to. The hosts were very clear and responsive in communications via text and Boondockers site. They were offering any help to make our stay more enjoyable.

Peacefully Tucked In!

LoweLodge was a truly great place to stay! Though we were not able to personally meet the host, he was very responsive by text and gave us all the information we needed as well as some friendly "conversation" in our messages. We were "tucked in" at the back of their beautiful property. It felt totally peaceful and private. The trails on the property were a delight to walk in the morning and had lots of interesting surprises along the way. We would love to stay again and highly recommend LoweLodge!

They are the sweetest couple. They treat you like family. They were very hospitable. Feel as though we have made new friends that I want to connect with again. Their property is spectacular.

Peaceful oasis

A wonderful place to spend a day or two, especially as a home base to explore Port Huron. Lots of wooded paths to wander around with your furry companion, very pleasant people and a nice private location. They went out of their way to be as accommodating as they could. Went to a couple of sites, there's a great park next to the lighthouse and in Maryville there's a really nice Beach where your dog can swim. The food at the raven restaurant was amazing and there's little fenced patio areas where you can set with your dog.

Their directions and communication was perfect.
My spot had a fireplace with kindling and firewood ready to go!
The property is lovely with wonderful trails to stroll. They even brought by a bowl of freshly picked blackberries...YUM!
It was so great to meet them. I hope all my stays are as great as this one!

Great Hosts, quiet nature

Lowe Lodge is a great 5 acre nature preserve amongst the bustle of peoples busy lives. He had a couple different spots for us to choose from for our 2 night stay. They had a larger bonfire, but we could have a small campfire if we wanted to by our camper. We refilled our fresh water upon departure. Highly recommended if you are doing stuff on the north side of Detroit & don't want to be close to the bigger city.

Wonderful stay

We had such a nice time staying with the Lowe’s on their homestead. They even invited their grandkids to come play with our children! Such a wonderful family and a beautiful piece of land with nice trails to walk! We loved it and look forward to making another trip!

Wonderful experience. Host went above and beyond to make sure we'd have a comfortable stay when we ended up with unseasonably high temps, literally checking where there was shade when at different spots on his property. He was great at communicating, and once we were all set up, we were left to enjoy our family time, with him just a text away. He then took note from us of what worked well, asked what advice we had so he can continue to improve the experience for future boondockers.

Beautiful place, wonderful people!

Our BW hosts greeted us upon arrival and escorted us to a perfect spot in the woods behind their house. After a day of driving in big winds, walking the paths through their woods was a peaceful reprieve. We learned we were their first BW guests and they excelled in making us feel welcome.
With numerous errands to take care of in Port Huron, we ended up staying a couple of nights - communication with was exceptional throughout - the homeowner promptly replied to any questions we had and helped us find a rental storage place. He even cut a piece of wood for us that we needed for an RV project!
We parked our Class B RV on grass but it was very level - no blocks needed!
Lovely place, lovely people!
