The hosts were very accommodating. The camp site was easily accessible, level and very quiet and private. Beautiful property. Would highly recommend their property while traveling through the area.
This was a very pleasant place to stay. They had several places to bike and walk. Our host was right there waiting for us to show us where to park he was extremely pleasant and helpful. We very much enjoyed our visit there.
We will stay there again.
Very family friendly! The Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our stay. The layout of the property is very well thought out and just amazing.
Lowe Lodge is a great 5 acre nature preserve amongst the bustle of peoples busy lives. He had a couple different spots for us to choose from for our 2 night stay. They had a larger bonfire, but we could have a small campfire if we wanted to by our camper. We refilled our fresh water upon departure. Highly recommended if you are doing stuff on the north side of Detroit & don't want to be close to the bigger city.
We had such a nice time staying with the Lowe’s on their homestead. They even invited their grandkids to come play with our children! Such a wonderful family and a beautiful piece of land with nice trails to walk! We loved it and look forward to making another trip!
Wonderful experience. Host went above and beyond to make sure we'd have a comfortable stay when we ended up with unseasonably high temps, literally checking where there was shade when at different spots on his property. He was great at communicating, and once we were all set up, we were left to enjoy our family time, with him just a text away. He then took note from us of what worked well, asked what advice we had so he can continue to improve the experience for future boondockers.
Our BW hosts greeted us upon arrival and escorted us to a perfect spot in the woods behind their house. After a day of driving in big winds, walking the paths through their woods was a peaceful reprieve. We learned we were their first BW guests and they excelled in making us feel welcome.
With numerous errands to take care of in Port Huron, we ended up staying a couple of nights - communication with was exceptional throughout - the homeowner promptly replied to any questions we had and helped us find a rental storage place. He even cut a piece of wood for us that we needed for an RV project!
We parked our Class B RV on grass but it was very level - no blocks needed!
Lovely place, lovely people!
