Quiet rural 5.6 acre heavily treed property that is 6-7 miles to the town's restaurants and shopping(Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Cracker Barrel, Napa etc). Also, great quiet neighbors.
if using a generator.... please, Quiet generators Only. 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
We are 2 quick miles off of I-75 and on a good paved road. My tree lined driveway is hard packed sandy soil that will not be a problem. However, the driveway is curved and not too wide but I have backed my 40' class A in for years with no problem. Best if you are a good driver though if needing to back in. To cover that issue, I'm requesting rigs that can be driven and not those that need to be towed. ie: Class A, B, or C's recommended, as they can be driven in and then out with normal driving skills. Trailers and 5th Wheels are not advised! Thank you for understanding.
I'm limiting rig size to 35' as a precautionary measure.
If towing, note that the road is quiet, so you can detach your toad on the side of the road in front of my house if it is necessary to back in.
View the drawing of the driveway and parking areas in the 'photos section'.
There is 'plenty' of room to park your towed(toad) vehicle.
I suggest visiting this web address for ideas. (https://www.visitflorida.com/en-us/cities/lake-city.html) on recreation possibilities in this area.
Easy to find, quiet peaceful country setting. Didn’t get to meet the Host in person, but texted often. Super friendly to us. Great stopover on our route.
Just stayed one night, but will ask to stay again! Convenient access to I75, three flat spots, convenient to a lot of local flavor!
Memoryroads is so personable and very helpful. Greeted us upon our arrival and guided us to our spot. Tree House Base Camp is very private and is a quiet/peaceful plot of land. We have a 32ft class C with a tow. Unhooked in the road and backed in without any problems. Area is flat, no overhanging trees or branches, very well kept. We will definitely stay again as we travel through Florida again. Thank you Memoryroads for hosting us and RVers alike :) Bill & Kristen Schroeder - Syracuse New York.
As others have said, host met us as we pulled in with power cord (50 amp, he also had a 30amp converter for use, also water). Very friendly and helpful. Made several helpful suggestions as we are on a long trip and heading into regions he has traveled by RV before. Thank you very much!
What an incredibly kind and knowledgeable host. Ron has a beautiful property, he waiting to welcome me. Gave me shore power and assisted me figure out a technical issue. Highly recommend
Wonderful host. Great quiet place to rest. Right of 75. Could not have asked for more.
We were greeted by the host, and given a choice of parking locations amongst the trees. He had the electric cord ready for us. This was a perfect overnight stay, with great conversation. Highly recommended. Hope to see you again. Thank you!
