Welcome to our BW site page. Please read all information as we all want to have a positive outcome to your stay. We ask that between the hours of 7am and 10am CST on arrival day you provide us with an ETA so that we may plan our day as we greet all guests in person. We ask that our guests arrive before dark. We enjoy socializing with our guests. While this is not mandatory we hope you would enjoy the same. If any of these do not fit how you roll please look elsewhere. If your stay request is accepted please read the message that comes with it. Please make sure you have an informative bio and a recent photo of yourself as well as anyone who will accompany you before making a stay request. Think of it this way, if you met someone on line what would you want to know about them before you said hey why don’t you come to my place? Lack of this will equal a declined stay request. Please make any correspondence including stay requests between the hours of 7am and 10pm Central Time. Please be mindful of the time zone you are in when making a stay request as we receive messages and stay requests in real time via text. Shared and maintained rock driveway. Parking site is rock and level. Back in parking. RV style electric pedestal (20/30/50 amp) and water is available. Tow vehicle parking is next to the rig. Dedicated parking spot is next to the pole shed and the woods with a view of the field and woods. You may see deer, turkey, fox and other woodland animals. Verizon cell signal is not the best but the jet pack works fine. Note: If you are caravanning with another party we may be able to accommodate two rigs provided all are members of Boondockers Welcome. Suggested Local Attractions: St. Louis is about 30 minutes away. The Great River Road, a National Scenic Byway, starts in Hartford, IL to Grafton, IL. Cahokia Mounds. Check websites of attractions as some are only open late in the week or weekend. Edwardsville is home to the Wildey Theater. A restored theater that hosts many classic rock bands, tribute bands and more.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Our little slice of heaven is located just off old Route 66. We are about 10-15 minutes from I-55 and I-70. Paved roads to our driveway. The driveway is a nice rock drive. There are two small hills. The trees are trimmed. We pull a 36 foot 5th wheel (13' tall) with a long bed quad cab with no issues. Driveway access in the winter is weather permitting. Please arrive before dark. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Next to the rig

The hosts gave excellent directions and was quick with correspondence. They have a dedicated parking location with water and electric. It was very peaceful and a beautiful location. we had a great conversation and got some tips for future travels. We will definitely stay again if passing through their area.

We just loved the two days we stayed with Dave and Marcia (and Gracie!). The spot was level and easy to get to with electric and water if needed and conviently located to the city. We also enjoyed chatting with the hosts and the homemade blackberry ice cream was amazing! Will come back here if in the area again for sure!

The Hosts were very kind. They shared information about their travels as well as confirmed the difference between Harvest Host and Boon Dockers welcome, and the most delicious home made Black berry ice-berry icecream. There spot accomadated our big rig (376 THS) quite easily and we hooked up to there 50 amp service and water. We slept like babies in the peace and quiet of there property, and really enjoyed meeting Gracey there happy Golden Retrever. We would definately come back again!

We stayed for one night at a huge parking lot at their house. The road down to the house is a little tricky but the property is so beautiful and quiet. The communication was good all the way and they gave us a lot of great advice. Their homemade icecream was sooo good too! Would come back here next time I visit St. Louis.
