This is nothing special as a place to stay as it is just a mowed, vacant lot that we own BUT it is VERY close to the fantastic city of Tarpon Springs. You are also a 3/4 hour drive to Disney and a 30 minute drive to Tampa, Clearwater and St Petersburg beaches, some of the prettiest in the world. It is a quiet neighborhood and we ask that you respect that please by keeping noise to a minimum. Thank you!
This is a residential neighborhood with no HOA rules but we ask that you respect all neighbors by being quiet.
No generators after 9 PM
No fires though you are welcome to take whatever wood is around from the oak tree :)
This is a vacant lot with a HUGE Live Oak for shade. It is fenced on three sides and the utilities are capped so PLEASE be careful not to hit them on your way in or out. Please use driveway for access and then park where you like. There is usually a pile of oak kindling and sometimes logs too. Feel free to take what you can use but do not burn it on the property, thanks!
Please drive carefully when ground is wet.
Since this is a vacant lot, we will not be there to greet you. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or text us and we will be happy to help with anything that we can! 727480 3023 for Jean and 727 505 2979 for Jerry

The spot is nice, however I didn't get a whole lota sleep, I though someone was walking around the camper about 3am did not feel really safe. Totally freak accident. Would definitely give it another go if I was going back thru.
The place was clean and well maintained. You can choose to stay in the shade under a big tree, or -if you have solar, like us- park in the sun.
The sponge docks are nearby, a fun place to spend some time.
The communication was great and the host was very nice and helpful.
Thanks so much for having us!
We had a great night's sleep at the Shady Lot. We didn't meet our hosts but they we great at communication. We enjoyed being close to Tarpon Springs and the Pinellas Trail.
The lot is level if you pull forward or back in just a little bit. It was easy to find. It's grassy so good traction and no dirt. It's a quiet part of the neighborhood. It's very nice for them to offer it to boondockers because Walmart, etc. in the area is not that good of an idea anymore.
Exactly as described and perfect place for us. Wonderful communication and i'm sure we will be back. Thznk you!
