Our home is a wooded acreage at the top of a hill on the edge of a small town located on the Missouri River. Quiet area with great views of a valley. Walmart is located a half mile from our home. 18 hole golf course close by. This is a great place to relax after traveling during the day. We do have a firepit which is a possibility depending on the weather conditions. We would decide at the time if it would be allowed.
Would prefer to have dog tolerant people as ours will be in the fenced yard intermittently during the day and evening. Ours are friendly and have never had an issue with other dogs. They are big gentle souls.
Would prefer that you arrive by 830 PM for us to get you settled in.
Quiet and without Generators after 10 PM.
Would prefer you to leave by 9 AM
Please pick up after your pets.
Travel from the Highway to our driveway is flat gravel of about 1/4 mile. The turn in to our lane is a 90 degree sharp turn which starts immediately up a long straight gravel driveway. In regular weather conditions it would be no problem for a Class B or B+ to drive up the crushed rock driveway. At the top of the hill the road and driveway are blacktop which is where you would park your rig.
Maximum length of rig including vehicle AND tow (RV or trailer) is 32ft due to steep grade of gravel driveway and limits to turn around area. Class B or smaller C are best suited for our place.
We occasionally plan last minute short trips which may not make it to our calendar so we occasionally aren't available when the calendar states we are.
18 hole golf course. Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo 30 miles away. Desoto Bend National Preserve is a 20 minute drive. Access to I-29 and I-80 within 30 miles.
Konda and Tim were so welcoming. We spent time touring each other’s RVs and talking about our travels. This was our first time camping with our two grandchildren and they had a great time. We will definitely be back with our other two grandchildren. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We hope to get to camp with you outside of Nebr some day.

We had a fun conversation with knietfeld and a great night’s sleep. The view of the Missouri Valley was beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!
Truly friendly folks with a beautiful, flat spot on a hilltop overlooking a glorious green valley. Their dogs are friendly and calm, and with my permission, welcomed me with a curious sniff and soft nudges. I enjoyed my brief visit and would be thrilled to stay here again.
Had early morning coffee with hosts on their patio while we watched a thunder storm.... beautiful. Enjoyed our brief visit. Only difficulty was the size of our rig and getting up and down the long, steep drive way. Would recommend total rig length not more than about 30 feet including tow vehicle. Class c and b would be best.
Our hosts greeted us at our arrival. They were very welcoming, gracious, and kind hearted! Their property is beautiful! Our German Shepherd had a great time playing with their Bernese Mountain Dogs. We highly recommend them! Thank you again!
It's hard to put into words how I feel when I cross paths with hosts like knietfeld. These are the type of people that truly make the world a better place.
The warmth and thoughtfulness they greeted me with was touching and the conversations we had, fantastic.
The spot they provided me was as good as it gets, dark, quiet, private and the best thing were the wild turkeys I could faintly hear nearby!
I hope I get back there again someday. Thank you knietfeld from the bottom of my heart!
This stay was one of the best of having been on the road for nearly 2 months. Their picture(s) do not even come remotely close to exhibiting how beautiful of a view you'll enjoy. And the hosts? Truly exceptional people!
The hosts were very friendly. The property is beautiful. Plenty of room to park and almost everything is level. We will definitely come back if we're in the area again.
This was my first use of BW. I decided late in the day about a destination and the host responded very quickly. It was very windy and cold when I arrived, so I didnt want to keep the host outside for too long, but it was very nice, chatting with her. Turns out she is looking at a Class B similar,to mine this week, and had just signed up,for Boondockers Welcome. I'm happy my dog and I got,to be their first guests.
Communication was great. Directions super easy. The driveway was fine to navigate in my class B.,,
