I live at a dead end on a canal that leads out to the Crystal River. There is room on the side of the house where you can park and sit by the water or on the dock. There is also a fire ring near the dock. Manatee and dolphin can often be spotted. Awesome place to kayak ! I may not be home when you arrive so please text me at (352) 586-8838 with any questions. You don’t need to ‘check in’ as I have friends that come and go. Please be considerate of my neighbors. Thank you. Suggested Local Attractions:Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Fishing. Kayak and boat rentals. Swim with the manatee. Scalloping charters in summer

Empty nester that travels a lot Details: I own a business that lets me travel and just purchased a Ram Promaster to make adventures easier. I have taken in Couchsurfers for a few years and met some incredible people from around the world. For now we are trapped in the US so figured I’d see it and offer a place for others. Home Town: I live in Crystal River, Florida. It is the manatee capitol of the world. Lots of tourist come to swim with them. Otherwise just a small town north of TampA Favorite Boondocking Locations: Working on this. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am an experienced backpacker and still Like to be in the wilderness.

Perfect overnight stay for us. Perfect evening to sit in the chairs and watch the boats and fish jump in the canal.

Beautiful spot right on the water. Enjoyed relaxing sitting by the water. Host told us about hunter springs a few miles away for swimming. Very quiet last house on dead end road. Would definitely stay there again

A fantastically beautiful and above all very quiet place right on the river. Uncomplicated handling with host, documents are available for the sights in the area. There‘s a lot to do/see. Highly recommended, thank you very much for letting us stay here in this amazing place.
