We are located just outside the city in a quiet location. We have a half-acre with a space to park a smaller RV, van, or truck camper. While the drive is paved, the parking spot is gravel. Since we are in the country, there are lots of places to walk a dog, and we ask pet owners to use the country road for dog walking instead of our lawn. Water is provided May through October and power is provided year around.
Note that our space will only support at total length of 25 feet (tow rig plus RV).
No RV dump is available on the property, but a free dump spot is available nearby.
Please use our gravel parking area to to turn around. Do not turn into our neighbors driveway. We want to keep them happy!
This is a quiet neighborhood with lots of families. Please treat it respectfully.
Please respect quiet time after 10 p.m
No smoking on property
Pets need to stay off lawn
All dogs need to be on leash because we sometimes let our chickens roam.
We live on a paved private drive that has two speed bumps to cross. The drive is narrow, but a small RV would have no trouble making it. The parking spot is at the end of the drive, but drivers can back into a gravel lot to turn around. Backing skills will be necessary to turn around. Note that we don’t have space to host setups that are longer than 25 feet total length (tow rig plus RV).
Next to rig. Total length supported of 25 feet includes tow rig and RV / trailer.
We are not available some weekends, because we are out adventuring. We are almost always available during the week, as we still have day jobs!
Walla Walla has become one of the finest wine regions in the area, with over 120 wineries to visit. While we are not knowledgeable in wines, many people visit our valley to do wine tours. We are 4 miles from downtown Walla Walla, which has many fine restaurants, that might be unexpected for a small farm town. Walla Walla is also less than 30 minutes from the Blue Mountains which have lots of outdoor adventure options. Visitors enjoy hiking, trail running, hunting, x-country skiing, downhill skiing, and 4x4 exploring near town. Our area has mild weather that doesn't get too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. We rarely have snow that stays in the ground.
Wine Country Living was a great location to use as home base for visiting all that Walla Walla has to offer. It’s only a few miles from the downtown area, yet you feel like you’re in the country. Quiet neighborhood to take a walk at the end of your day. Host was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival and greeted us when we arrived. He gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat and sites to see. The spot was nice and level and easy to pull right into.
Very welcoming and great directions and communication. Quiet and peaceful, couldn’t ask for a better stay!
The host was very helpful to get my RV set up with water and electric, an unexpected bonus! He recommended an excellent Greek restaurant nearby. The space was level and easy to park my van in, and the chicken came to visit in the morning. Very nice stay!
We stayed just overnight and host couldn't have been more helpful with details before we arrived and local info during out stay. We enjoyed a quiet night's sleep and good conversation during our stay. Google maps directed us correctly.
Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home! The 15 amp power was much appreciated and the spot was perfect for our camper van. Easy access, level parking spot, and very quiet. Thanks for a great visit!
We enjoyed our stay by BlueMtns very much. They are super friendly and helpful hosts. We got a lot of excellent recommendations. We enjoyed the chat with the host. They have a beautiful house, nice yard, an unbelievable tree and some funny chickens. It’s a great spot, we highly recommend it. Thank you so much for having us.
