There are a few restaurants, groceries, shops, and a little museum within walking distance, including the Rail Trail leading down to Echo Lake. The advantage of this location is its easy access to I-80 for travelers passing thru on a long haul. We live here for the great skiing and hiking, golfing and biking, fishing and kayaking. All of these activities are within 30 minutes (or less), including historic Park City, UT.

Easy access: paved road, gravel drive.
On street parking available, near rig.
From time to time we might venture farther from home, but for the most part, someone is always around.
Hosts are very sweet and very helpful. I could have chatted with them for hours. It's s in a beautiful peaceful town that has a delicious pizzaria within walking distance. Recommend this spot for a nice stay in a lovely town.
Sweet place to stay. Host is friendly and has a beautiful garden. There is a rail trail close by where we rode our bikes for a few miles. We highly recommend this place.
Friendly hosts even put up a temporary sign to help guide us to the location. Lovely home and garden in a nice small town. It was truly a great little oasis after a long drive through Wyoming. Thanks for the salt!
This was a very pleasant little town without much traffic, noise or lights. Felt private enough that we didn’t even close any shades. The host was able to tell us places to exercise the dogs which is a great help, you know, burn off some jet fuel. Would stay again.
Stayed once again on our return trip from Oregon. Hosts were as delightful as ever. Location is perfect for boondocking. Yard is lush with vegetation and they have a small table and chairs set up under the trees for relaxing under. Much better than a state park in our opinion.
Easy to find, convenient location for travelers. Very welcoming folks, offering amenities and local info. Would love the chance to stay again!
Perfect spot for our brief overnight rest. We were quite impressed by the perfectly manicured grounds and garden our hosts provide. Even more impressed by the friendliness of our generous hosts! Their treatment of weary travelers is exemplary!
Earthbound.Nomads were the consummate hosts. Incredibly welcoming, patient, and fun to talk to. My kids loved the yard to stretch out on, and we had a great night.
We had a really comfortable and nice stay here at earthbound nomads. Extremely accommodating hosts who even shared some fresh food from their garden! We also shared some very pleasant conversations occasionally throughout our stay.
Laura was friendly and offered us our tour of her gardens. Regardless where we wonder we can alway find kindred spirits. I loved seeing her city as well as exploring temple square in Salt Lake 30 minutes away. We also visited park city, Olympic park and snowbird/Alta ski resorts in the cottonwood area These were all within 1 hr drive. So much to see in this area. I wish I would have had the opportunity to see Sky High distillery in Wanship which is only 9 miles away. Closed Monday- Wednesday. Laura told me it also has a wonderful restaurant.
Anyone wanting to explore a variety of scenery should visit Laura who has been an amazing hostess.
Thank you for the stay, it was nice and peaceful. Had a great conversation with the hosts.
All else has failed to cancel July 1st reservation so I am trying to remove this by staying we confirmed our stay and see if this doesn’t fix the problem.
Contacted help from Boondockers but still nothing to report.
Another amazing stop as we remain committed to go slow while getting off the Interstate on our way back to Denver. Once again a Boondocker Welcome exceeded anything we could have imagined. There is so much beauty to take in at this small town oasis with gardens galore and very genial hosts. We hope to come back through again next time we head West.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay It truly is an oasis - quiet, beautiful! She showed me around her beautiful garden Both she and her husband were friendly, kind, helpful Provided a great suggestion for a walking trail (the Rail Trail) I was very tired from a long drive so I, unfortunately, didn’t get to visit much beyond the initial meet and greet I will definitely return to enjoy a longer visit! Thank you Earthbound Nomads for sharing your sweet space
Great spot just off I-80 for a quiet night stay. Their son was very helpful. Especially easy since it is pull-thru parking on their semi-circular driveway in front of their lovely home. Long enough for our 25 foot motor home plus tow car without disconnecting. Thanks for the little gift of locally mined pink salt. We would definitely stay here again if going this way. Thanks and God Bless.
Our host and Dotty met us upon arrival and helped us get situated. The drive from the interstate was on nice wide roads without any obstacles. The circle drive for their beautiful home was cozy and inviting. They provide a very nice covered table and chairs in their lush yard. It truly felt as though we had arrived at a wonderful little quiet oasis. We can't wait to return and spend some time in the area. These wonderful people offer a great little respite for weary travelers.
After a very long drive (12-13 hours!) we arrived at Our Little Oasis. We were greeted by our wonderful hosts and a big surprise. C had lived in the same town we do and had graduated from the same high school our son did. Just 30 years apart. Small world! The parking spot was perfect, over looking their lush green yard. Just what we needed to cure our “road lag”.
Thank you again C & L 😎
We will definitely stay at Our Little Oasis again!
