Jay and Candy were very accomadating and the location was very pretty especially at sunset. Our dogs loved running off leash in the wide open field.

This was a great spot for us as we were passing thru Fort Myers. They had 50 amp hookup for $5 per night! We stayed for 2 nights. It was so quiet and we loved the view of their property out our windows. Dusty road to get there but we didn't mind - the place all but made up for it. Our hosts were very nice and friendly. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Jay & Candie have a real nice property and offer a great spot to boondock. They are good hosts and very welcoming. Candie is a sweetheart and an acomplished artist (check out her studio) whos happy to chat and give local recommendations. Water and affordable power were a nice added bonus. The ONLY detractor about this spot is the awful road in/out and it’s ESPECIALLY bad in inclement (heavy rain) weather! It’s very close to if not impassable during heavy rains and we would NOT do it again as it was VERY stressful and rough on the rig! This coming from seasoned, full time RV’ers and a very experienced and accomplished driver. It was really quite ridiculous even trying to get out and unfortunately they have no contingency plan for guests needing to stay due to weather, if they have another guest coming in. This honestly ended up being quite surprising to us as well as a bit frustrating as the weather and conditions were in no way, at all safe to make the 2 3/4 mile drive out on that terrible road! Unfortunately this ended up being a rough and very stressful end to a real nice stay! Even during nice weather the dirt/sand road is very rough and fairly challenging but doable if you take it very slow. There are many very large/deep holes, large soft spots to potentially get stuck in and long sections of very rough washboard to rattle everything loose in your rig. I’m sure that smaller rigs and vans would find it just slightly easier but dont even think about it in heavy rain! We’re 32’ and it was rough on the rig and our car coming in when it was dry. It’s really to bad that the road is what it is because the location, beauty, quality of the spot and hosts were screaming to us to return again but not sure we’d take the rig down that road again until its in better shape and definitely wouldn’t even think of it if the forecast was calling for rain! Again, Jay and Candie were great and the spot as well as the property were fantastic but that road…….ugh its not fun.

Flat spacious parking area. The road in is a little rough and dusty but well worth it. Just a short drive to downtown Fort Myers great streetside Cafe's and shopping. Jay is a fantastic host and he offers 50 amp for a small fee. Will definitely stop by again.

Gem of a find in a more rural area of Fort Myers! Gracious host that offers 50amp electric & water fillup if needed! Much open land for our dog to wander around & feel more free! No fret re: the gravel/dirt/sand road, as it was easy to navigate in our 40ft. motorhome with a toad. Easy in/out & level parking location. Definitely recommend this location!
