In typical older residential neighborhood, one mile from I-10 and one mile from Crafton Community College. About ten minutes from Redlands College in Redlands, CA. Yucaipa is a nice smaller community on the out skirts of the busier San Bernardino area. We have a back yard orange and grapefruit small orchard and a garden.
No smoking on property
No running generators after 10:30 pm
No loud music
Quiet time by 10:30 pm
Driveway is off of a regular residential city street; 1 mile from I-10 and 2 miles from downtown Yucaipa.
RV parking is in our driveway and maximum length is 52' (58 if I move a trailer), so might be room for tow vehicle to stay attached, but if not there is also room to park a tow vehicle on the street. Driveway is pretty flat.
These hosts went above and beyond my expectations. They helped me with a camper repair that I never could have done on my own. (I don't travel with a ladder) We had a lovely (and socially distanced) conversation in their yard and a garden tour. In the morning I just unplugged and got on the road. Hopefully I was quiet and didn't disturb them. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend them.
What amazing people. I can’t say enough about this couple. We are so grateful for the privilege and graciousness.
Lee was very helpful and Kind! Location was next to a great gas station which was very convenient for work
Great directions level driveway Beauriful Backyard.. thanks Leepag for allowing us to stay even though you were away.wish we could have met you in person. if you ever get our way we would love to host you.
Really nice couple with a perfect location for up to about a 30 foot RV. Helpful and friendly people with a great attitude and plenty of RV stories to share. We used the electric hookup and it ran our AC no problem. Would recommend them to anyone.
Leepeg was a delightful host, and it was so much fun getting a chance to know them. They were quick to point out some attractions in the area that we might be interested in. Also, we happened to arrive during citrus season and we were given some delicious grapefruit. Also, discovered during this stay what lousy lawn bowling players we are. :-)
What was a great stop for us. We were able to venture out from here to some places we were interested in sightseeing.
Leepeg’s driveway was long enough to accommodate our 30 foot camper with our truck parked in front. The street in front of their house can get busy, but everyone seemed to be ok with stopping while we backed in the driveway.
We certainly hope Leepeg will drop over and see us sometime in Georgia. We would love to see this wonderful couple again.
Great place to stay with amazing hosts! The Host was out to meet us when we pulled up and helped us get backed into our spot for the next two nights. Him and his wife gave our family a tour of their back yard garden and some oranges/grape fruits for the road.
This was our first boondockers welcome experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Leepeg's driveway was the perfect spot to relax after a day in Big Bear. He was kind enough to give us a tour of his backyard, and shared his bounty of oranges and grapefruits with us. We slept in and didn't get to say goodbye, but he is as kind and genuine as they come.
We stayed for two nights while we were visiting family in LA. Hosts were friendly and helpful with any of our needs. Will definitely stop again.
Leepeg is a great host! I was able to stay in their nice residential neighborhood and it made the conclusion to my trek following Rt 66 from Chicago to LA a wonderful experience. Due to Covid our time together was brief, yet I enjoyed our conversations and his experience RVing the entire country.
We had a wonderful stay in Yucaipa! Hosts were super friendly and helpful with local suggestions. We got to see their beautiful backyard and garden while chatting a bit too. Very thankful for these hosts!
