Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostThis is a rural country setting with many trees. It is about 75 ft down our gravel driveway to the camper port (35' x 16' x 13'6") that one can park under. The area has fresh gravel to park the rig on. We have a small outdoor woodburner along with kindling and wood.
We have an electric line (15A) ran from our garage to the camper port for small power draw items. We have water at our house that could be accessed once per visit by backing the rig about 200' to our garage to fill up tanks.
We have a friendly medium size dog (Heidi) and a cat (Leo).
- No running generators after 9pm.
Our location is about 7 miles (10 minutes) from I-70. It is off a paved clear 2 lane county road on a township road in a country setting. There are some minor hills on the county road but nothing steep and there aren't any sharp corners.
Required to pull in our driveway a short distance and then back in under the camper port.
The carport is about 70 ft from the road and 200 ft from our home.
There is a one 35' L x 16' W x 13'6" H camper port to park under. There is space beside the port to park a tow vehicle.
There also grass area beside the the camper port that would allow space for a second rig.
We do travel some ourselves and the spot may not be available at those times.
There is campground nearby with dump service. Fee was $10.
There is a nice local vineyard not far from our place. This vinyard probably cannot accommodate a rig but only the tow vehicle.
There are other restaurants at the exit also.
The area to park was level and had an electric hookup close by.
My dog and I had a lovely morning walk down a dirt road....saw some of deer. It was a quiet nights sleep.
This was our first stay at a boondocker welcome location. The owners were amazing hosts, they even gave my toddler a package of s’mores stuff to use at the fire pit they provide. The dog and cat were great playmates for our little one. We really appreciate all the hospitality while relaxing at your beautiful country setting.
The hosts were great. Enjoyed talking to them. My Golden Retriever Melt has a new German Shorthaired Pointer girlfriend. Very quiet place to sleep and relax. Beautiful area and scenic farms along a nearby country road.
