About 15-20 minutes from I-75, our place is tucked away down a long, winding paved driveway through woods. The parking spot in our driveway is next to the detached garage and suitable for smaller Class B and C RVs. Taller and larger motor homes, trailers and fifth wheels would have a problem with low hanging branches and turning around to get out. We can supply some water from the house and a 15 amp electrical hookup if parked in the driveway. If the ground is dry and no hookups are desired, we have plenty of yard that you could park in, away from the house with more privacy. In that case, small(ish) trailers would be fine; we have towed our 16 foot Wolf Pup out there and camped ourselves! Best to contact us to find out what the ground conditions are and the size/type of your rig; we may be able to accommodate. If your pet is well-behaved, friendly and not prone to running off, it could run off-leash. It goes without saying that you must clean up after it. We can offer water to top off your tank. Suggested Local Attractions: We are midway between Dayton and Cincinnati, with all the attractions those cities have to offer. Wright Patterson Air Force Museum is less than an hour away, as is King's Island Amusement Park. We are 35 minutes from Miami University in Oxford, OH; and the same distance from Hueston Woods State Park which has a lake, small beach, and hiking trails. Twin Creek and Germantown Metroparks are 10-15 minutes away, with opportunities for kayaking and hiking.

Location
Access Road Conditions: Road access to our home is fine, but our place is tucked away down a long, winding paved driveway through woods. The parking spot in our driveway is next to the detached garage and suitable for smaller Class B and C RVs. Taller and larger motor homes, trailers and fifth wheels would have a problem with low hanging branches and turning around to get out. However, if the ground is not wet, we could accommodate trailers with tow vehicles in the yard, away from the house. In that case you may not be able to access the electric, depending on where you are parked or if you don't have a long extension cord. Just send us a message, tell us what you have, and we'll see if we can make it work! Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Next to the rig or in the driveway.

Merle helped us park and get settled. It is a beautiful secluded level spot up a narrow winding drive. They kindly let us adjust our location a bit to suit our weather related needs. We enjoyed meeting Deb as well and I loved getting a look at their new camper. Helpful communication and prompt and a great suggestion for where to meet my sisterโCox Arboretum is a jewel. Thank you and hope our paths cross again!

Deb and Merle are such wonderful hosts -- very kind and helpful! The battery died on my van and Merle was able to quickly diagnose it and fix it. He even provided a printout of the part that I'll need in the future. It was cold out, so Deb invited my little dog & me into their lovely home while Merle worked on the van. I was so grateful for the hospitality they showed me. Theirs is a perfect location for an overnight stop while traveling, as it is not too far off of I-75. I would love to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beautiful surroundings on their hilltop -- perhaps on my trip back home in the springtime.

I can't imagine more kind and accommodating hosts than Deb & Merle. We weren't able to use the grassy areas due to recent landscaping/seeding, but the paved parking was more than adequate for our truck camper. Thank you!
