Location

Access Road Conditions: There is 1 mile of gravel road to get to our house. From there it will be traveling on a grass driveway for a quarter of a mile. This can become soft in a rain storm so some precautions need to be taken if there will be rain. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Park next to your camper in the mowed grass.

Soon to be retired!!!! Details: We are ready to retire and want to do some traveling and camping. We have been outdoor enthusiasts all of our lives. We have built a log cabin, traveled with an 18'teepee and now are wanting to do more camping with our RV. Home Town: We live in the country 2 miles East of Humboldt, Nebraska. The farm is the place where I was born. My wife is also from this area. Skills or Expertise to Share: Jan is a great cook and loves to bake anything. She also likes to sew and make quilts. I have spent the last 48 years in the Water business taking care of the needs of the water systems in 2 towns. Some of my hobbies include: knife making, hunting and fishing.

Had a wonderful visit with the hosts right down at the pond where you camp. No noise but a distance train and the leaves rustling in the wind. If you are in the are make this a stop for sure. Great host with good stories and full of knowledge. We will be back for sure.
