Leave a reference for this hostWe live Within 5 miles of the University or CT. Five miles the other way is Eastern CT State University and the famous Willimantic Frog bridge. We live in the middle of 40 acres of woods in a rural area. But are within 5 miles of grocery, retail and hardware stores. For those who like to hike there is access to a trail system.
No generators after 9pm. Smoking materials And or pet waste must be disposed or properly. No guests or loud music.
Access off Route 195 up Browns Rd is not recommended due to the sudden sharp incline. We can provide alternate routes. We live 1000 ft back in the woods up a dirt driveway. Small branches may brush the tops or sides of large rigs. We have a spacious yard and rigs can park either in the sun or in all day shade. Longer rigs must make a k-turn in the yard to go back down the driveway. Smaller rigs may be able to pull around.
In the driveway or next to their rig in the yard.
We do last minute trips at any time but please reach out to see if we can accommodate you.

We spent nice quiet nites in CT, away from the crowds, yet close to the places we needed to visit. We arrived in huge Thunderstorms & unfortunately had many during our stay & ended that way too! Our hosts had just returned from hiking the AT, we had some brief conversations, but would have loved to have visited longer to share more travel stories. We hope to meet again someday! Great place & Great Hosts!
Lovely Boondocking spot with plenty of things to do in the area. I know I’ll be coming back to area and would definitely stay here again with the hopes of hearing more of the fun adventures that Wingerstoo have enjoyed! Safe travels and AT hiking until then.
One of the nicest places we've ever stayed...
