We are in the North end of Bullhead City Arizona from our house you can see Arizona , Nevada and California . We're 1 mile from the Colorado River, 7 miles from the launch ramps at Lake Mohave and 1 mile from the Casinos in Laughlin Nevada, Grocery and services are also very close by. Our upper lot has some really great sunsets and a fire pit to sit by to watch them.
No loud music, if we can hear it in the house it's too loud. If you don't use shore power you can run your Generators for short times to recharge your batteries during day time hours only. We prefer non smokers and not really a kid friendly yard but will consider.
One is very easy just back in the other is up a bit of a hill not good for really long RV's but has a great sunset and fire ring. no trees to worry about hitting this is the desert .
We have 2 flat spots both nice and level!!
Pretty much available most times, year round.
Did I mention the River, Lake and, Casinos ??
Unfortunately we missed the fabled sunset, but the hosts were very friendly and the snack bag was put to good use!
We had a great stay with these hosts. Not only were they welcoming, but they went above and beyond for us. They have a beautiful, level, hillside perch that is excellent for small rigs. Wish we had had more time to get to know them better. Thank you again.
We were only able to book one evening and had to spend it doing work. We would have loved to stay and get to know the hosts better. They were so kind and accommodating! And the welcome basket was a real treat, especially when you live fulltime in the RV. Thank you so much to our kind hosts! We hope to make it back through.
The host met us and directed where to park. They surprised us with a thoughtful gift bag. 30 amp connection was great for utilizing air conditioning.
The views from Sunset Hill, both sunsets and the lite casino views at night, are incredible. Our hosts went out of their way to made us feel at home, he helped get us parked and Mrs. presented a basket of snacks (even some for our pup).
We are looking to return and enjoy their company again.
We came in from Flagstaff, Arizona and discovered that our brakes (front passenger side) were smoking. Got to our Boondocker’s Welcome site and with their excellent communication found the site and parked per their instructions. Very easy access.
We proceeded to drag up in the morning and take the RV to the mechanics for inspection of the brakes. Long story short... they were gracious to offer us extra days, as we had to wait for parts to get the repair work done.
Lovely welcome basket upon arrival!
Had a chance to visit while watching the sunset one evening!!
We enjoyed the walking path at Colorado River at Rotary Park, plus Pickleball and a dog park there too!!
They gave us a welcome basket which was a very kind gift and much appreciated by the whole family. Great location.
So glad we stopped here instead on Kingman. Our hosts have the perfect level hilltop with views and fire pit with 4 chairs and tables already set up. We just parked, put down the jacks and slide out and enjoyed cocktails by the fire that Jim set and started. They joined us for a sunset toast and we had a wonderful time! 30 amp plug was a great bonus!
What a fantastic place to stay for our first experience in the AZ desert. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating. They have the perfect setup for receiving visitors in RV's. Loved it!!
Thanks so much
Easy to find and wonderful view. Hosts greeted me and got me settled, even gave me welcome bag of snacks! Thank you.
Enjoyed our night here. Gracious hosts gave us a gift for staying..wow. Husband and dogs enjoyed the cookies. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
You can see the sunset, look down and over to the lights of Laughlin and see the mountains. Very welcoming hosts. Spot is pretty level and large and close to anything you would need or want to do. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
This has been the best Boondockers Welcome visit and host we've had yet. We were welcomed with a gift, helped with hookups.
The upper level is amazing and we loved sitting outside watching the sun set.
We will definitely come back!
Stayed at Sunset Hill primarily to catch up on work, which we were able to accomplish. The lady of the house was very welcoming. Very close to Bullhead City and Laughlin. Thank you for allowing us the stay.
Had a short, but easy and enjoyable stay. Had help backing in and even received a nice gift bag that included yummy cookies. Thank you! This was a big birthday for me and we celebrated in Laughlin while on our tour of the SW. Was so nice to have this beautify, close and convenient site for the night.
First Boondockers stay. WOW. Host is very accommodating extremely helpful. I made a wrong turn little late showing up still welcome me and got me right into the spot to spend the night. Next morning helping with hookups. Thanks Boondockers. Thanks To the hosts Hope to return.
The hosts were very accomodating, friendly, and wonderful people. The site was level and spacious. The view of the sunset was simply amazing. We were there when the neighborhood had Christmas lights on, and the overview of all these lights were beautiful! We highly recommend this stay!
What wonderful hosts. The site was beautiful with a sweeping view of the mountains and city. They had electrical hookup and offered water, but wasn't needed. They even gave us a gift basket. How nice is that? This was the best stay of our trip.
Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a nice welcome basket with an assortment of fruits, popcorn and some nice coasters. Their place was beautiful and they invited us to watch the sunset with them in their back yard. A very relaxing time. I would definitely stay here again.
Friendly host, nice location close to Bullhead City and Laughlin. Good views if you get in the upper lot. Level. Lower lot on the side of neighborhood street.
