Newly empty-nesters Details: We love our small hobby farm in NE Ohio - yes, we love the climate too! But now with four kids grown and gone we are happily taking advantage of the chance to travel. John and I are both veterinarians and we still work part-time as needed for various organizations. We enjoy history, politics, natural beauty of this world God has created. Home Town: John is from Mullan, ID and Kathleen is from San Antonio, TX and we both now call Hudson, OH home Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have used Harvest Hosts often and have enjoyed just about every one we have tried. In a pinch, we like Cracker Barrel, WalMart, Cabelas Skills or Expertise to Share: ummm... mostly science and veterinary medical related so not much use on the RV circuit

What a treat to find a HH so close to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. After I arrived I met the goats and chickens, threw a ball for the dogs, and took a short walk on a mowed path through the fields. I had a lovely restful sleep. I can imagine that it is a challenge to park a longer rig in the spot on the other side of the house - Iā€™m glad that my 21 foot van had room to spare on the cement pad next to the house; being on a level spot without having to set up blocks is the best. Thank you for sharing your property!

Excellent stay for night. Very friendly, gracious and considerate hosts. A little tight backing into spot off of main road. Take you time and be sure you are heading east so you can do a sight side back in. Do not try a blind side back in. Take your time... it is worth the stay.
