This host has everything perfect! We called at the exit, as requested, and were met at the intersection of their street. We followed the golf cart around to our level parking spot in the woods, complete with electricity. We had a nice chat with the host. We felt lucky we were able to land here before they depart for warmer weather. Hopefully next time, we will be able to meet you both, and COVID will be over so we can be more social. Thank you for such a warm welcome, and safe travels in your upcoming trip.
What a pleasant stop for an evening. Our host met us at the road/driveway entrance to their host location and guided us right to the spot. As it turned out it was back in the woods about 1/2 mile so the escort made it easy.
These host were very personable and we enjoyed chatting some before we settled in for the night and a bit before we departed. Our pup enjoyed the freedom of the woods but also really enjoyed playing with their pups as well.
The site was very nice with 50 amp power right off the drivers side rear, just like a campground.
We hope to be able to stop again as they are conveniently located for a route we travel periodically. Thank you Bigfoot for a very enjoyable stay.
What a wonderful location! Great people and we would definitely visit again. Thanks!
The hosts were so kind and the peaceful setting in the woods was just what we needed for a few days.
Just beginners to RVing and we were so lucky to come upon Old Oak Haven. The hosts Bigfoot were the most welcoming, warm, generous and friendly people! Their many-acred site was a serenely beautiful, treed area of tall, straight hardwoods and pines. For your Boondocking you have a fully prepped and level campsite and 50A electric: was highly appreciated in the unexpected almost freezing overnight. Make sure you follow Bigfoot's instructions to arriving to site: Google doesn't get it.
My husband and I can't wait to visit with Bigfoot again: he, to flyfish and afterward, we will sit by the fire with our hosts, chatting the time away!
Perfect sites and awesome hosts. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a weekend.
Looking forward to coming back sometime in the future .
My stay at Old Oak Haven was as good as it gets with Boondockers. Dave and Cathy were great hosts!! Dave was gracious enough to give a thorough tour of their beautiful property. Full hooks-ups were (50amp) a luxury not often found. They invited me in to their home for coffee and conversation. Just more assurance to me that RV folks are the best people in the U.S.A.
