2024 will be our fourth summah hosting Boondockers/Harvest campers!! HOWEVER we are in flux!! our business - our mom & pop market - Wallace Market is up for sale!! after 20 years at this store Joan & Ernie Coletti are retiring!! we will be taking reservations for our camping spot until May 2024 when we will be passing papers to the new owner of Wallace Market!! we have NO IDEA if the new owner will continue with this camping arrangement although we will inform of it. After we sell our business we will still have a summer home next door to the store and will be accepting some B & C type campers next door!! we will make sure the new parking area is reflected in the new description.

OUR market is in a neighborhood type setting across from our Town Offices & library - although there is alot of day traffic due to the fishing industry - at night the town and parking lot quiets down. we are only taking reservations of campers until May of 2024 as we are in the process of selling our business which of course includes the camping spot. we will be living next door in the summer so we will continue to take smaller camper vehicles - which will be updated in the description.
Location
we are a large flat parking lot - we are NOT a campground, however we will share water and wifi with our campers!! we are the only store in Friendship and we are at the corner of routes 220 & 97 -the available parking spot is identified with a Harvest Host Parking sign and you are welcome to use/occupy the deck next to the parking spot. You may not be able to park right away depending on when you arrive but the parking spot will eventually free up - so park by the HH sign perpindicular to the white fence. WE ARE ONLY TAKING RESERVATION UNTIL MAY AS OUR STORE IS CONTRACTED TO BE SOLD IN MAY OF 2024 - WE WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE SMALLER CAMPER VEHICLES NEXT DOOR AS WE WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE A SUMMER HOME NEXT DOOR TO THE STORE . WE HAVE NO IDEA IF THE NEW OWNER WILL CONTINUE THE CONTRACT WITH HH SO WE WILL NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS AFTER MAY.

retirement in our future!!! Details: we own and run the only store in Friendship Maine and have done so for the past 20 years HOWever our store is due to be sold May of 2024!! we will continue to take campers next door in our duplex next to the store in the summers - the rest of the year we will be living in Europe!! we have a 24 foot Thor Vegas that we will camp with in New England when we are home - unfortunately Harvest Host is an extremely user UNFREINDLY service for their Hosts (yes, even ultra hosts like us!) so its unlikely we will get much use out of our "reward" memberships for hosting as they literally dont work! if you are thinking of hosting you will meet wonderfully cool and interesting campers - but dont do it for the hosting rewards as it is literally a bait and switch. But regardless we have met and made some cool friends through the years!!!!

We staying at the Corner and seeing the everyday life of a small coastal community! Chatting with the owners and their sweet little dog was definitely a highlight. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming, offering the use of their lobster pot and access to their very well stocked store with reasonable prices. Store is busy until 8 and then quiets down until the morning. Deli makes items fresh and has lots of local treats. Unique location in a small fishing village; walking distance to the town dock and harbor to see the lobster boats. Hosts were super friendly and run a great local store that the community counts on.

We enjoyed our stay and were fine with what little bit of noise and activity we experienced on a Friday night. We felt safe and slept well.
