3 miles off of i75. Just under 1 mile to the charming southern town square of McDonough. 30AMP electric available at this time, water is about 50'. McDonough Square is very nice and has several great restaurants, ice cream, live music at times... If the weather is good it is just under a mile walk ( 0.9 miles). Side walks for most of the walk. Summit Motor Sports is 3 miles away. Atlanta Motor Speedway is about 10 or so miles away. Heritage Park is close and is a nice county park. Publix supermarkets is close by. There is a library close by. There is decent shopping. Henry county is NOT a tourist destination but if you are traveling through town it is a nice place to stop. I have a pool table, dart board, big screen, and a work shop in the basement, you may be able to use if you'd like. Atlanta is about 35 minutes north and you will find anything and everything there. I have lived here my whole life and would be happy to direct you to whatever you are looking for.

House Rules

Please be kind, be respectful, don't cause trouble for me, my family or my neighbors. I will treat everyone with dignity and respect and expect the same. There are times I am busy and cannot assist in person, at others I will be happy to help with anything you need. I am always available for texts (questions, requests, etc.) I am social and extroverted but also understand when people want to be left alone. Just let it be known either way. No worries here. The obvious, don't leave trash, no excessive noise, just be a great neighbor Please DO NOT drive in the back yard. We have a large yard but we do not have a fence. Your dog is welcome to run, but it is your responsibility to keep your dog and others safe. Busy state highway is approximately 150' feet away.

Location

We are off HWY 20. Once on the property, it will require backing into the space, but there is lots of space to do so. If you are comfortable backing your rig, you should have no problems. If you are not comfortable backing your rig this may not be the spot for you. Please DO NOT drive in the back yard to turn around as there is a septic system underground there. The front yard is fine to drive on if needed. There are some trees, but I will have them trimmed back to 12’ clearance. If you need more clearance let me know. You can park your tow vehicle near your RV parking on the concrete pad.

I love life, people, exploring and adventure. RV life is perfect for me. My favorite hobbies are snowboarding & photography. I have lived in McDonough all my life. Life's been good here, but I have always had the desire to be on the road exploring new places. I have been able to travel quite a bit and I am always ready to go RVing. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere I open the sliding door of my van and see nothing but beautiful nature... the blueridge parkway was pretty spectacular. Skills or Expertise to Share: Jack of all trades master of none. I have a degree in communication and use it daily. I dabble in photo/video world. I have wood working skills. I've made a repair or two. I do have tools you could borrow for most jobs.

This was our first time using our HH/BD Membership. Pretty sure I requested the stay incorrectly. Reached out to the host same day and he was very responsive and helpful. We got it figured out. He wasn’t home but allowed us to stay. Backed into driveway and down the side of the home without any issues. He had the power cord right by the parking spot. Our dog enjoyed sniffing around the nice back yard. Once set up, we walked into town so the dog could get some exercise. As we were leaving the next day, we realized we missed the actual town square by a block or so. It looked very cute and quaint. The family was home but we only saw someone out front, taking their dog out, once. It was a quiet spot. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast outside. We were packed up and gone by 10 AM, leaving a little cash for the use of the power. Thank you!
