This is a single family home is a nice older neighborhood. We have 1/3 acre and a very large driveway and side yard that can easily accommodate a moderate sized RV and tow vehicle. It is a quiet street with an expected amount of neighborhood traffic, especially after 6 PM. We have great neighbors and would greatly appreciate any visiting Boondockers to respect the quiet nature of our neighborhood (no loud music or generators, etc).
The Donation request is ENTIRELY optional; if any visitor was so inclined, a modest ($5 or $10) donation to the LANCASTER FOUR DOG RESCUE www.l4dr.org, is greatly appreciated.
Our main request is that guests are quiet and respect the peaceful, family neighborhood we live in. We have a large fenced yard if your pets need that, it would be necessary to see if our dogs synced, or we would be happy to share the yard and keep our dog inside, she does not have access unless we let her out.
No smoking on or near the property.
Our location is in an established neighborhood with well maintained city streets. Our drive way is compacted rock/gravel and level and graded appropriately.
Large driveway, room for RV/trailer and tow vehicle. Water and electricity available.
We are a short drive to downtown Portland with a great culinary scene; there are MANY good restaurants and outdoor activities within a few miles of our home if the Downtown Portland scene isn’t your thing. We live very near a very nice bicycling/walking nature trail, the Fanno Creek Trail.
We had a wonderful stay here. The host and her daughter set up a little play area with a table and toys right outside where we parked. My kids loved the extra little touch after a long day in the car! We enjoyed talking with both of the hosts that evening when we arrived to set up. Would stay again! Thank you for your hospitality!
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet suburb of Portland. The vibe is peace and kindness and that goes for our hosts as well.
They’ve made a sweet little side yard for their guests to put out the awning and chairs.
Just good feels all around!
Located just outside the city of Portland, the location is close enough for public transportation if bicycling into town. The area surrounding was very quiet and peaceful, yet close to shopping centers if needed. Leveling blocks may be needed.
Great stay with kind and helpful hosts. A quiet and convienent location. I woudl be happy to return.
This is the perfect place to stay in SW Portland. The spot that they had us park in in faced a big hedge that provided complete privacy. Our hosts were so warm, welcoming and SUPER easy to communicate with. We enjoyed a lovely coffee/pastry time with them that we brought to thank them.
They were also very knowledgeable about towing and since this was one of our maiden voyages with our A-liner, we were very grateful for the jnfo.
Since our daughter lives near by we look forward to staying there again in the future.
We felt grateful that they provided such a positive first experience for us. It was great to get to know them.
Loved getting the chance to stay here for a few days. The hosts were more than accommodating and made sure I was well taken care of even though they weren’t in town! They provided me a safe place to park for a few nights and charge my batteries before hitting the road. Nice neighborhood with everything close by.
Easily able to park my teardrop trailer. Very nice people and was able to get on the transit to Portland easily. Very nice people!!
Very nice and welcoming! Perfect area to park my teardrop in! Offered electricity and water. Thankful for the stay!
