Leave a reference for this hostOur 20 acre farm is surrounded by wheat fields. It is flat and open and easy to get to. We have room to drive around our buildings, so parking is pull through. We are critter lovers, so friendly animals are welcome. The dog off leash area is shared with our dogs, so please coordinate with us before using it. The parking is in full sun, but near a 50 amp plug. There is an RV dump at the truck stop where you access the freeway a few miles from our house. We have plenty of room for more than one RV, but only one 50 amp service. There is access to a standard 15 amp plug also.
No loud parties and loud music after 10 pm. While our neighbors are distant we are respectful and noise carries.
2 miles on good gravel road
Large gravel lot around shop and barn.
Pendleton Round Up, Pendleton Whiskyfest, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Pendleton Bike Week, Wildhorse Casino, Tamastlikt Museum.
5H-Ranch was the best possible choice for my first BW stay. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and directed to a spot where I had a beautiful view from every window. The hosts provided recommendations on good hikes and their favorite takeout locations in town (no indoor dining due to COVID-19 restrictions). They provided options for 15 amp electrical and fresh water hookups. The hosts were fostering puppies and encouraged me to play with them during my stay. On my last night they joined me around my fire ring for a socially distanced outdoor chat. It was a wonderful experience and I hope they will visit my property in the not too distant future.
Great hosts! Very kind and generous with the space. They were looking after a new litter of puppies, and let us play with them. (Which we did for hours, probably). We had a wonderful stay :-)
These two women are amazing! Hard working with huge hearts! We felt so relaxed!! Wished we didn’t have a prior commitment or we would have asked to stay a day longer. They were fostering 7 adorable puppies. Good thing they were going to be big dogs or we would have stayed to adopt.
We plan to stop on our way back north in the spring.
Excellent Host, met us on arrival and offered several options to park and hook up our power and water. We stayed a day longer which the host offered to us allowing us to make another trip into downtown Pendleton and enjoy the sites. Very quiet and peaceful location and short ride into downtown or to the Indian Casino.
What a wonderful stay we had at 5H ranch. Our hosts really treated us as special guests. There was a wind storm expected so our hosts kindly parked us next to a building so that we wouldn't incur any damage. It was a perfect spot. The views from their ranch are amazing. Pendleton has some great history to explore. During this time with COVID unfortunately some things were not open. Oh and shopping at Pendleton Mill was a treat. Expensive, but a treat nonetheless.
We highly recommend 5H Ranch.
We had a FANTASTIC stay at 5H Ranch! Although I worked during the day, we were able to chat with our hosts a bit one evening (at a distance) and enjoyed several glorious sunrises and sunsets during our stay. We got off to a rough start leaving our destination and had to postpone our arrival date, when we communicated that with our hosts at 5H and they were very flexible and understanding with our situation. Site was level gravel and we had no issue turning around in our rig to park! Would 100% come back to chat and stay with 5H!
We were fortunate enough to be the first guests to stay at 5H-Ranch. We had amazing hosts. We had a great time our sharing travel stories and interests over a bottle of wine. Our pup had a good time playing with theirs as well. We highly recommend this stay.
