We are a Boondocker's Welcome host (not a Harvest Host farm). Our 60 acre ranch is surrounded by wheat fields. It is flat and open and easy to get to. We typically have room to drive around our buildings. We are critter lovers, so friendly animals are welcome. There's plenty of room to wander and walk your dogs. We are a working farm so there's activity irrigating and doing chores which does make some noise. There is a free RV dump at Arrowhead Truck Stop where you access the freeway a few miles from our house. Suggested Local Attractions:Pendleton Round Up, Pendleton Underground Tours, Pendleton Whiskyfest, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Pendleton Bike Week, Wildhorse Casino (Which includes movie theater, bowling, arcade, restaurants, and a golf course), Tamastlikt Museum, Pendleton Air Museum, Heritage Station Museum, Pendleton Round Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame. We also have many great restaurants if you would like recommendations.

Two girls who love to get outside Details: We love animals and nature and all things outside. Our 60 acre farm is really just a big pet habitat for our horses, dogs and cats. We foster animals for our local animal shelter and volunteer when we have time. Home Town: Pendleton, OR Skills or Expertise to Share: We've owned an RV for 12 years so we know a fair amount about camping in a trailer in the woods off grid. We love to hike and can share some of the great places we've been if you would like ideas.

This was our first Harvest Host stay and it was great! Safe, quiet and a beautifully kept ranch. Loved the sunset and seeing the horses.

5H is an awesome place! I really enjoyed seeing and hearing all of the animals. Great communication from the hosts, too! Easy access and 30amp service were a huge plus!

We overnighted at 5H Ranch on our way from Washington State to Moab. The ranch is in a terrific location with plenty of room to spread out and make yourself comfortable. They even offered 30A power, although we'd left our extension cord at home and were just a few feet short of the power so we opted to run our genny instead. The truck stop close by was perfect for a quick tank dump on the way out. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, very accommodating, and provided a lot of very useful information for getting to the ranch. The instructions provided 3 different alternatives and we took the one with the shortest gravel section. The gravel road to the ranch was fine to drive on with our 44,000lb rig, but there are a couple corners that we had to be careful of with the tow vehicle still attached to our 41-footer. Really terrific hosts and location. Thanks a ton!

Right off highway 89 we found ourselves with ample level parking, electric hook up, water refill, peace and quiet and a stunning sunset. We couldn’t have asked for better!
