Thirty miles north of Atlanta, easily accessible to I-575, Ga.400. In middle of horse country on Ga. 372 in far north Fulton County and surrounded by expensive neighborhoods, but still in the boondocks.
I have animals and next door neighbors. The neighborhood is quiet after dark and the same is expected of guests.
Gravel and dirt driveways. In rainy weather, parking available in large yard.
Elsewhere on property. I have 8 acres plus.
Birmingham Park (120 acres, wooded with walking and horse trails) within 1.5 miles.
Gibbs Gardens, Lake Lanier, Lake Allatoona, white watering, Booth Art Gallery Cartersville, Atlanta
Jerry was an amazing host! His property is such a great experience with the farm animals and his vision for a retreat. Jerry was very attentive to our needs and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. When you stay, make sure to make time and check out the baby goats. I would highly recommend this location to friends and family, and we will stay again!!
Jerry’s farm is a really nice place to relax and enjoy the animals and nature. Both Jerry and his daughter were very friendly and fun to be around. Enjoyed touring Jerry’s property and the peaceful spot he put me in. Check out the log cabin Jerry is building and get the story of how it was moved. I will definitely go back and visit Jerry’s little farm. There are several restaurants in Milton. Take your fishing pole several ponds. I give this experience a 10. My rig is a 40’ MCI coach. Good flat spot
I had transmissions issues all the way to Four Branches. I cannot thank Jerry enough for his help! I will absolutely be back to help with whatever I can!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Farm owner was very friendly and accommodating. There were other people present during our stay and he made sure we all got settled in and packed up fine. He gave us a dozen fresh eggs. There were plenty of dogs running around that are always so happy to see you. One of the goats' horns accidentally pulled the plug on our fresh water, but no harm done, just had to fill it back up. He has access to water hookups and power and even has a place you can dump. Overall, would recommend!
I made the mistake of not carefully examining the area where I was going to park our RV. We got stuck in the mud because my four-wheel-drive was temporarily out of commission. Jeremiah uttered the sweetest words I’ve ever heard “I’ll go get my front end loader“ He pulled us out of the mud and gave us a much better place to park and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Jeremiah sat and visited with us. We ate hotdogs and beans just like family. His chicken and goat farm is a wonderful place we enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to go back and visit again.
We were so happy to get a chance to talk to Mr Jerry this time he is a brilliant mind and quite a Visionary look forward to seeing him again someday!
We really enjoyed our visit at 4 Branches. Jeremiah was an excellent host, who seemed very concerned that we were having a good stay. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We especially enjoyed stories about the individual goats, and it was certainly interesting to watch them as they wandered the property each day. We also had an opportunity to look in on his new chick's. Jeremiah has a beautiful property and excellent plans to keep improving it. We look forward to returning the next time we are in the area, and highly recommend it to other boondockrrs.
A great place to stay. The goats were very entertaining and lots of people and puppies to meet! Thanks so much! See you again soon!
Four Branches Farm is a sprawling oasis with much to explore. I feasted on fresh eggs from his growing brood of hens and wandered among the free range but friendly goats in the fields - a welcome respite from time in busy Atlanta. Great place to stay!
My kids loved chasing the goats and both dogs were very calm and friendly not only around my kids but my old dog. We will be coming back next time we're in town.
This was one of our most unique boondocking experiences to date! Jerry was a wonderful host and we had the pleaseure of listening to the birds and bull frogs in the evenings. In the morning we were able to sleep in and watch the 31 goats come out from under the quaint cabin they had slept unhder. Jerry placed us on a firm piece of ground right next to one of the ponds and near the waterfall he had created. The spring flowers were beautiful against the green grass. The chickens were also very colorful and the old pigeon coop reminded me of my brother and father's attempt to raise squab and pigeons. Definitely, this is a place to return to when we are in the area.
Jerry is a wonderful host, and has quite the personality and sense of humor!
He was reachable by phone and helpful with arrival directions. He helped me get backed in, settled in and plugged in to water and electricity. He has a place to dump, too, which was so very helpful. It is near the house, so I waited to do that until I left so I didn't have to hitch back up and then back back up to my parking spot.
Lots of goats, some roosters, and two sweet dogs!
Close to lots of hiking spots, and there is a great restaurant about a mile down the road. Such a beautiful town, and lots of beautiful housing developments around.
Thanks for having me, Jerry!
Sad to leave for sure!! the Host went out of his way to not only make sure we had what we needed but he also connected with each of us and made us feel welcome and important. We couldn't have hoped for anything more!!
Jeremiah is a very interesting and cordial host. We enjoyed meeting him and spending time with his beautiful and friendly "pet" goats and chickens. It was a relaxing and enjoyable visit for us. Note: Be sure to use your water pressure regulator, as the host's water pressure is 100psi.
Jeremiah was a very gracious and generous host. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will defiantly add his place to our must do again list.
We were in town to visit family and Four Branches was a great home base. We stayed next to one of the ponds and while there is a road at the top of the property, it's not that noisy. Especially at night. There were supposed to be severe storms and Jeremiah let us know where to go incase of a tornado. Thankfully we just got a lot of rain. He also made sure he was around when we left incase we got stuck. Very nice and accommodating. Loved the goats. They came by to visit every once in a while.
We enjoyed our time! The setting is peaceful and great for access to the area. Host went out of his way to assist and provide every convenience. Had great conversation and was truly disappointed that we didn't get the chance to fly fish the pond.
We really enjoyed our time at Four Branches Farm. I needed to be near a dear friend who had surgery for a few days, and this location was only 15 minutes away making it super convenient to take care of my friend. Our host was most gracious and we got to see several brand new baby goats! It was awesome. The area is beautiful and everything you need is super close. It's great for doing some of the city things you might be interested in. Thank you Four Branches!!!
Jerry is welcoming and considerate and the goats, dogs and more are friendly and make it an interesting place to stay in the country.
We had a wonderful time at this host's location. Between the hosts, the animals and surroundings, we were well taken care of. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He introduced us to his goats, chickens, and guinea pigs. We even played on some of the equipment. I am only sad we didn't have more time to spend here.
I cannot recommend this location enough, and we will certainly be returning. Thanks again Jeremiah!
Our host was kind enough to let us stay over Christmas. It was baby goat season so there were 14 babies and I thoroughly enjoyed snuggling each and every one!!!
This was an amazing stay. We were only going to stay one night, but we enjoyed the host and the property so much that we decided to stay two nights. He showed us around the property and introduced us to the goats, chickens, and guinea pigs. Our dogs have never been around goats or chickens so they were amazed. It was adorable watching our 5lb Pomeranian chasing goats. The property is fully fenced in and Jeremiah allowed us to let the dogs roam around. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
Great host. Met us as we pulled in and directed us to a good place to park. Showed us around his place and even let me check out some of his machinery! Had a blast!
The host was wonderful! He has two waterfalls he's built on his land to enjoy. Plus, we enjoyed holding the days old chicks and hearing both the chickens and the goats hang around the farm all day! We hope to come back for a visit.
Goats are friendly and very loving. Very close access to north Atlanta towns like Alpharetta and Cumming. Great horse ranches close by and the property is in a beautiful setting. Owner improvements ongoing.
We enjoyed meeting and visiting with our host, who allowed us to set up on the driveway because it had recently rained. He really went out of the way to show us around and my husband even got some rooster feathers to ties flies with later!
Be aware, however, that you are camping with about 30 pet goats who have the run of the place. So there is manure, and at night the goats were rubbing up against the unit and we did worry about them eating wiring, etc, although there was no damage.
Jerry is a wonderful host. He made us feel at home, and showed us around right away and supplied us with fresh eggs straight from the coop (the most delicious eggs).
There’s plenty of chickens free ranged all day long around the farm along with 30 goats. Waking up to hear roosters and goats was something we had missed, and enjoyed it while we stayed. My kids enjoyed fishing in the pond, catching some catfish and releasing.
We had water and electric (15amp) hookup on our level ground, with some road noise during the day, but there are more spots available further in the farm away from the road. Getting in and out was not difficult with our 33’ TT.
Jerry, thanks for your hospitality!
Very kind and hospitable host. He has a lovely piece of land and his doggie and the goats were adorable. I would love to pass thru Georgia and stay a night or two again 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was very nice meeting Jeremiah and his daughter also. Very kind and hospitable folks! I was in town working a few days and Jeremiah made it easy for me to acclimate to the area and also made me feel totally at home. Great stories, great farm, cool animals roaming the pasture and yard... id recommend this place!
Host was warm and welcoming from the moment he opened the gate to his beautiful 8 acre property. The free-roaming goats immediately meandered over and I was able to pet them and one of their kids. The dog also got in on the love before it was time to visit the chicken coop with the 4-day old chicks. I haven’t had the joy of holding a chick since I was a child — thanks to our host for that rare gift! We had some time to get to know the intelligent, kind person that our host was in the evening and the next morning before we had to leave. Given our fabulous view of the sun rising over the farm pond (complete with goats at our doorstep), we had a fantastic experience we will always treasure!
