Warm and welcoming host; bucolic, serene, real working farm experience!

Host was warm and welcoming from the moment he opened the gate to his beautiful 8 acre property. The free-roaming goats immediately meandered over and I was able to pet them and one of their kids. The dog also got in on the love before it was time to visit the chicken coop with the 4-day old chicks. I haven’t had the joy of holding a chick since I was a child — thanks to our host for that rare gift! We had some time to get to know the intelligent, kind person that our host was in the evening and the next morning before we had to leave. Given our fabulous view of the sun rising over the farm pond (complete with goats at our doorstep), we had a fantastic experience we will always treasure!
