This location is close to many activities such as biking, hiking, shopping, the seacoast, and occasional commuter trains.
We arrived a little later than we usually do while the host was just 5 mins away. We should have waited for him because we parked the RV in the wrong spot which happened to be his septic tank, no damage done but lesson learned communicate with and wait for your host!
The host greeted us with a big smile, ever the gentleman, he was so good about our mistake, then showed us where to park. The area is an easy and roomy drive into position, pretty level and quite shady.
We were truly grateful for all the host offers here at Our Home in the Woods!
He was so enjoyable to chat with we invited him to hang out with us both evenings; our conversations were lively, about everything and anything, full of laughter and joy.
We highly recommend this host and location!
Thank you so much PeterandChris! My first stay as a boondocker was an outstanding success!! The location is absolutely beautiful and pastoral, and so convenient! The host was warm and welcoming, going out of his way to make me feel at home. We had a lovely chat and he gave me some suggestions of where to explore. I had every possible convenience with the full hookups, and I would definitely stay again!! Thank you!!!!
Nice little area for a quick stop through. The host was friendly, and we wish we had been able to actually sit down and talk. We fit perfectly with our 28' camper. Anything longer might have been too long.
Had a great 2 night Stay at PeterandChris. Easy to find, close to the coastal town, and with great accommodations.
I got to have a lovely chat by the pool with the host on my 2nd night to share our travel adventures. Would stay again. Thanks.
I didn’t get to spend much time with the host, but he was very friendly and offered me the use of his pool area. The site was shaded, and the water, 30 amp connection and sewer dump were welcome amenities. I’d like to come back sometime and chat with them more.
Great shaded spot! Big nice tree. 30amp, water, dump, who could ask for more!!!
I have a Ford F150 and a TT - ball hitch to back bumper 28ft, wouldn't do it if much longer. Once in, your probably staying attached for the night, but you could back up & unhook if careful. Just steer clear of the house & the dump pipe.
Kinda hidden turn into drive, so follow gps and go slowly. Sharp turn in on the right side between trees, just take it slow! Also, you're gonna go up a slight yard embankment, but it wasn't difficult. Host will guide you in perfectly!!!!
Couldn't have asked for a better host. Would definitely stay again!!😊
A very cozy spot, we woke up in the shade with a beautiful light through the leaves. The hosts were super helpful and friendly.
The accommodations were outstanding in every regard. Nice quiet shady spot with electric, which we used to run our AC. Our host was extremely gracious and provided excellent alternate directions instead of the GPS. Wish we had the opportunity to converse more but will definitely be back and hope to catch up then.
I had a wonderful two-night stay here. Had a nice early evening conversation with the host upon arrival. Most enjoyable. Thank you so much for your hospitality
We really enjoyed our stay at MaryLouPeter's House.
Peter helped us with everything. He is a very good man.
The place is calm and quiet.
It's 15 minutes from Hampton Beach.
I would recommend this boondock.
I was welcomed by the host and he made sure I had everything I needed. We did not have time to visit as he had to attend a meeting. The site was great with all the amenities I needed. It was private and had a nice view of open fields with chickens roaming free. I enjoyed visiting with his sweet and very well mannered dog. I hope to be able to visit this lovely place again soon and spend time with the very kind hosts.
Peter was a generous host who offered us lots of good local guidance, and even the use of his clothes dryer, as it’s been raining every day. He’s a nice, quiet and helpful presence. We had a perfect boondock!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Our host was a great ambassador for Boondockers Welcome!! Very helpful, accommodating, friendly and gracious. He recommended places that we might enjoy in the area. And we hope our paths cross again one day!
Thanx so much to the amazingly kind gentleman that helped us out so much I had lost 2 of my travel group and he was so helpful to guide us in and out of the spot . Plus he was very patient with my lack of parking skills plus was happy to share his experience with me and give me a couple good pointers. Great judge of character and so happy it was contiguous. I hope to be able to return at some point in my travels if he would have myvdaughter and I. Thanks again for making us feel at home on you exceptionally beautiful property
We enjoyed getting to know this host! He is interesting and kind. We loved sharing stories and exploring in this beautiful place. We can’t wait to come back!
Peter was the ultimate host. Friendly and social without being intrusive. Convenient location, close to the highway and easy to get to. Great setting with lots of walking trails. We will definitely visit again!
This was a great location, with easy access to Rte 101. The spot was level (we travel with leveling blocks but didn’t need them).
We had a chance to visit with Peter and had a great conversation.
We love this area in NH and expect we will try to stay here again soon.
Our stay with MaryLouPeter was lovely. We arrived around 4pm; Peter was at the driveway to guide us. The spot where we parked was level and shady. We took advantage of the 30 amp hook up; great for using our microwave and electric tea kettle. We would love to visit again if we ever head back this way. Thank you so much, MaryLouPeter!
A friend and I were the first guests at this location. It was an honor. Our hosts were very accommodating. The wifi and dump station were great extras. Lots to do in the area; close to beaches.
MaryLouPeter provided a wonderful first-timers boondocking experience. We only picked our brand new nuCamp Tab the previous day. As well as offering full hookups (we only needed electric) they also shared a valuable tip for backing up our trailer and tow vehicle. It's only been two days since our stay but I feel like I'm a tow vehicle backing-up expert!!
Thanks MaryLouPeter for a great first-time experience!
