Description

A Quiet primitive tent ⛺️ site you supply the TENT we supply the spot at Little Heaven Ranch.

This is a TENT ONLY camping quiet spot under the stars at its best. This is ideal for the RVer who wants to get under the stars. Or has children who do. You must have your OWN TENT and an RV, to be self contained per BDW.

This spot is for TENT camping in a tent you brought with you. Or where you have kids / family who want to camp in a tent.

** Please note each Recreational Vehicle staying over night will need a reservation through BoondockersWelcome **

*** Please do not use GPS to find us. My directions are local specific. Following GPS will get you over 40 acres away for some reason. ***

You must have a RV to use this spot. We do have an alternate spots for self contained RV’rs who don’t want to tent camp.

We are located within the southern Colorado Plateaus geologic province as such the high desert plain can experience wind and wind gusts. Also associated desert weather that can be extreme without notice. As well as highs of 89-95 during the day to 35 nights during the summer months.

We do not want your stay to be inundated with rules. We have rules in place because common sense is in short supply sometimes. Just think of it this way. If you would not do it in your Great Nannies Tea room, don't do it here. Same goes if you could not act a certain way in front of your Great Nannie, don’t act that way at Little Heaven Ranch. So enjoy yourself, but don't disappoint your Great Nannie.

Generator operation guidelines:
No running generators after 8:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m.
While running a generator while Boondocking / Dry camping at Little Heaven Ranch. We would appreciate it if while running your generator to limit your run time to a maximum of four (4) hours and then a break for 45-60 minutes, before resuming a four (4) run. This is to allow a breather between runs so nature may resume around us.

Checkin is from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Quite hours observed are 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and siesta time 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. daily, please note that checkin will not be allowed after 10:00 p.m. without making contact prior to our checkin hours ending.

We are in the wilderness of Arizona (The High Desert).
Please understand that means you may encounter all manners of Az wildlife and insect and critters.

Please note: LHR does not allow operation of ATV, SandRails, DuneBuggies, or other designated off road vehicles on the Ranch

Children / Guests: all parties are under the BDW Guest control, failure to be on best behavior and or violating any house rules; will result in revocation of access. Immediately the entire party. Depending on severity there may not be a warning.

From your site you will be able to access AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon. For both cell service and internet. If you use a different carrier let us know so we can add it to the list.

Your site has a fire ring within. (Please only burn within approved area) You are allowed to purchase wood from local suppliers. i.e. super market, gas station. (Please use care) But please do not transport from one region to another to avoid insect or pest relocation. And ground collection is generally frowned upon in the wilderness and source is limited other than kindling at LHR. We do offer firewood on site at LHR, for your convenience. Currently 9.00 a bundle for about two fires worth, with the local price currently being 10.00-12.00.

Please ensure you drink enough water, while visiting Williams, Valle and the Grand Canyon. Little Heaven Ranch is at approximately 6,080 feet. Staying hydrated is essential to help avoid altitude sickness.

If you are interested in helping out with our water drive we collect water cases for our youth guests year round. As we can go through 10-30 cases a week.

We do have garbage service, non portable water, cases of drinking water $, loose water bottles $, firewood $, Batteries,
borrow Our quiet landscape for your viewing pleasure.

You must have a Tent to use this spot. We do have an alternate spot for self contained RV’rs who would like to RV camp.

Free dumpsite at Grand Canyon @ Market Plaza Rd.
Free potable water at Grand Canyon dumpsite. (It’s Yummy water too)

Pets: Please clean up after your pet. If you need bags we are happy to provide you one. In addition to it’s the right thing to do, if not cleaned up it can attract predators to the area.
Letting animals off leash. Is not allowed for their safety. As we have mentioned there are predators in the area.

House Rules

Checkin: is 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, but please kindly arrive prior to 8:00 PM (
we tend to turn in early) unless approved by the host prior to checkin.

Checkout : Please kindly depart prior to 11:00 AM unless approved by the host prior to checkin

Pets Welcome: Any pets must behave, any animals must behave accordingly, All animals must remain in control and on lead not greater that 72".
All animals must be cleaned up after they have been relieved. By their owner or handler, failure to pick up after your animal goes. The said animal, handler/ owner, including guests will meet with immediate expulsion and termination of any rights.
All animals must be under control at all times, this includes barking. Anytime there is excessive barking by where another guest complains. It must be remedied. will meet with immediate expulsion and termination of any rights. With you completing the stay, a feedback will be left regarding this issue.

Please do not drive through sites
Please do not consume alcohol visibly outside.
Please refrain from abusing legal or using illegal narcotics on LHR properties.
Please refrain from transporting illegal narcotics or substances on LHR properties.

Use of Fire rings must adhere to burn regulations and be used in a safe manner.
Please maintain at least one gallon of water to extinguish your fire. 
Do not leave your fire unattended (NEVER) Failure to maintain control or leaving a fire unattended may result in expulsion from LHR and or any local charges or governmental fines. 
Please Do Not. Knock down any free standing dead trees.
Our any dead wood that is decor. Our down wood decor is labeled. With a tag and or blue paint. 
You may use dead brush and or dead scraps from your site as a fire starter.
But please respect site boundaries. 

We do have bundles of firewood and kindling, as well as matches and fire starter blocks.

Very responsive and understanding of our change of plans.

Awesome living concept. They are 100% off grid. Would have loved to k ow more and learn a lot from them, but due to strict social distancing which both of us followed, we could not meet :( will definitely visit them next time.
