Our house backs up to a church parking lot that allows us to back into the yard. Smaller rigs can park in our driveway. Very well-lit, a touch noisy from the church air conditioning units so this isn't a place where you'd get away from it all, more like safe space to stay the night. Suggested Local Attractions:LSU, Southern University, State Capitol

Access Road Conditions: It's flat in Baton Rouge (thanks Mississippi River). You can park in the back of our house in the yard or if you're small enough in our driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Tow vehicle parking on the street or in the adjacent church parking lot.

Home Town: I grew up in rural Missouri but have been in Baton Rouge, LA for over 15 years now. It's home to us! Favorite Boondocking Locations: We've loved them all but especially those in the mountain West. Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm a general handyman who can fix most things other than cars.

This turned out to be our 3rd stay and we arrived much earlier than predicted due to delay by another host that was very slow to respond (delayed 4 days) to our request for 2 days stay. Baton Rouge Backyard has been a convenient stop for us on each trip. Thanks again!

Very gracious and generous hosts! Located in very quiet neighborhood, not far off the I-10. Would definitely request a stay again if passing through this area!

We stayed one night. It is a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Kyle and heather are very friendly and we felt wellcome.
