Location

Access Road Conditions: Paved street into gravel driveway. In dry conditions and depending on the size of the vehicle, parking is available in the back yard which is a little more scenic. If having to park in the driveway, which is completely fine, be aware that there is an incline to it. There is a railroad crossing at the entrance of our street with a slight hill to traverse. There are some low hanging trees along the street to be aware of for taller rigs. We are most likely best suited for smaller RVs, vans, short buses and shuttle buses, but can certainly discuss the logistics with full length skoolies or longer RV rigs.

Fellow nomads pursuing the journey and dream of bus life. Details: My wife and I have been bitten by the nomad bug and all things bus life. We are just now really getting started on the journey of learning, preparing and pursuing bus life. We have experienced the nomad community and have felt right at home. That's why we want to open our home to travelers for a peaceful place to park and refresh along the way. Home Town: We live on the south side of Dalton, GA in the Carbondale community. We are located at the end of a street with woods on 3 sides, at the foot of John's Mountain WMA. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We haven't used any yet, but are looking forward to finding out favorites.

We had a good time relaxing and getting in a 2 5 mile walk at this venue. We were a little unlevel but we had trouble with our jacks so not the venues problem. Just know, don't wear sandles when you go out side at dusk. I got bit by fire 🐜 s. OMG ! How painful. We did not get to spend much time with hosts as they had just returned from a family funeral. Thank you again for having us. Enjoy Shirley ( their bus conversions name).

Nice easy stay. We didn't have time to get to know each other but perhaps another time!

We had a great time visiting with our hosts and discussing future adventures, and we even got a tour of their bus. The location was beautiful and was easy to get to. I would highly recommend a stay at The Pearce Place at Carbondale.

Enjoyed our stay. Lots of room. Stazyed on gravel drive due to heavy rain just as We arrived.. Did not want to damage grass.Very friendly host.. We fell asleep early due to driving 11 hours. Had a great walk with the dog on an old logging road.
